I bought this item because I was tired of waking up with a stiff neck and even stiffer jaw. I am a die hard side sleeper and have purchased other items in the past, but I finally bit the bullet and spent some hard earned cash on this item...and I couldn't be happier! I am 5' tall so I was able to do just fine with this travel sized pillow. Watch those sizes, there are 2 different sizes for different heights, plus their travel-sized equivalents. On to the review:I found the item quite dense initially, but it may be because I am new to memory foam. I actually threw the entire pillow and its case into a standard sized pillowcase just to keep clean. I went to bed and immediately understood how this works. The density is key. My shoulder has room to rest without creeping up to my head, but at the same time, my head has breathing space without squishing my face. And my neck is at a perfect height allowing my jaw to relax with perfect support due to that lip on the edge. I barely moved all night I was so comfortable. I woke up and had absolutely no stiffness in my neck, my face had no crease, my jaw was pain free, and I felt great! I don't care how much this thing is now. I hope they never stop making it because I am taking it with me everywhere!

I feel like I have found a miracle that I almost hate to share with others because I want there to always be availability for these products! We won't survive without them! My husband and I both have TMJ and we both wear night guards and we both have neck problems (and he snores like a freight train). He is 6'3" so we got him the largest one a few years back. He is now on his 3rd one and we have the older ones available for overnight visitors. I have the middle size one (I am 5'3") and it fits me perfectly. I also just ordered the smallest one that I will use when we travel. We take these pillows with us EVERYWHERE we go because we have gotten to where we can't sleep without them! We would pay extra to the airlines to take them with us; however, they are fairly light weight and easy to compress so they fit nicely in our luggage and don't add extra weight or as much room as you would think. AND MY HUSBAND DOES NOT SNORE ANYMORE! We elevate the head of his side of the bed just a bit and then sleeping on this pillow keeps him from snoring! Good night sleep for me with no snoring and a great pillow too!

I have a significant TMJ problem that involves my jaw, neck and shoulders. I bought the size of pillow correct for my height. The first one I ordered did not state in the description that it was a travel size. It was much too small to sleep on. So, I bought the regular size, again using my height to select the size. The thing is hard as a rock. After only a couple of nights my neck pain increased terribly resulting in even worse headaches than I started out with, and those were bad enough. It allowed me to sleep on my side without causing my jaw to hurt but that is all the positive things I can say about it. At his request, I brought the pillow to my TMJ specialist for him to have a look at it. He said he did not like it, that the indentation made to take pressure off the TM joint creates less than adequate spine support. This purchase was a costly mistake.

I have tried many pillows over the years and have finally settled on this one. Not just for travel, which this is perfect for, but for my every night delight. I have a military neck which means no curve for cushion. As a result I have had some serious migraine headaches back while in junior high and high school. Been using ergonomic pillows since then and none have compared to this one. Cured my neck pain and no more migraines.

I first purchases this pillow in 2009, loved it, it lasted 9 years. Bought a replacement last February, not only was it a little smaller than the previous pillow, now 9 months later it no longer supports me, and I began getting neck and shoulder pain. I've had to replace it (with a pillow from a different manufacturer. I will not be buying this pillow again!!

Good Pillows for just lying back and relaxing during Sports games. Not for sleeping during the night. Their a little to low and narrowl. I need two of them just to elevate my head, so my neck won't look like it's broken or my head is falling off my Shoulders. They are cool and comfortable to rest your head on. But that's it.

I love this pillow! I am by preference a stomach sleeper, but since that is not good for my neck, I have been trying to change to sleeping on my side. This pillow has made a huge difference. I find that I tend to stay in one position for much longer and seem to sleep better as well. This pillow together with an air mattress are making my sleep more restful. I would suggest adding a protective cover of some type to keep perspiration from reaching the foam since it cannot be washed. The zippered cover is a removable terry cloth like material which is washable. It's worth the purchase price in my opinion.

In two days, this pillow solved my problems. I feel refreshed, no kinks, and no arm or ear numbness or pain. My husband said I have stopped snoring! It now makes sense that a pillow should be in proportion to your height!

I recently vacationed in B.C. and, to my surprise, the condo where I stayed had that type of pillow. So I inquired about it and, once back home, I surfed the web and found that Amazon was selling it. It is the best pillow I have ever slept on; no more cervical pains in the morning. The $$$ investment is worth. Actually I bought the standard size for my bed and one smaller one for traveling.I would strongly recommend that pillow to people who have either cervical and/or back problems.A.L.
