Appear strong and well made. Not as easy to install as shown. They were a tight fit and would only go one way. Instructions did not warn about the bars being asymmetric. I had to start over on the installation after installing side.Other than that they look fine and do fit tight.

It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but, assemble the bars, leaving the right side loose. Position the bars on the car, make them fit by tightening the bolts on the right side, piece of cake. They look great and took less than 20 minutes.

I had some problem getting it installed and being too loose. The instructions aren’t very clear. Overall good. I got it put in using some extra washers to extend the base of the bolts so it would fit snug.

Decent roof racks. They hold my kayak onto my vehicle, which was the purpose I bought them for. However, the caps for the ends are not very snug. One of them came off sometime while I was driving, and I lost it. I can not find a way to contact Alavente to see if they can send me a replacement. So, Alavente: if you’re reading this. Please reach out to me to try to rectify the issue. Finally, I now realize these same roof racks can be had cheaper elsewhere, o’well.

These cross seem well made. At first I didn't think they'd work because the mounting holes looked off-centered. But the brackets did fit. I did go to the hardware store and got some star lock washers for the thumb screws just to be sure they didn't work their way loose.

Directions were a joke. You need a tool we had to go get. The covers that should snap over you drill in the three screws do not DO NOT go back on, no matter how many of us tried. I’m amazed no one mentioned in reviews but then I didn’t research much. Once we put so much effort in youre not likely to return so I’ll probably jb-weld the dang covers on. So frustrated. You do need the covers bc of harsh weather sun/snow… and if you ever want to unscrew screws they protect them from degrading. Frustrated. Also, do the whole thing mock up first on driveway bc the rods bow if not facing “up” and you wanna know what’s left right etc… directions were 3 or 4 images and zero info that was useful. Not a quality product.

Works great. Not perfect fit as far as angles on main rails but it works great. 2 cross country trips down. More to come.

Racks looked very good out of the box. No directions but found a youtube video that made it pretty easy. Loaded 3 surfboards on the new racks and headed to the beach. 30 minutes on the freeway at 70+ speeds and no issues. Checked the hardware once we arrived at the beach and everything was tight and no movement on the feet. Great product!

no problem with installation and came with all the parts required. Feels secure, but will not get a chance to test with the thule box for a few months. Will be back to comment if there are any issues.
