Good gift for older kids or adults with patience
Bought as a gift for an 11yo. He was pretty excited but as I flipped through the book with him I noticed that the projects looked quite difficult. Luckily he is a brilliant kid. The paper that each project supplies is very large, bigger than the standard origami paper, and not enough to complete each figure. I also gave him a pack of 500 origami sheets to practice with first.

Good Quality!
I have always loved to do origami art, and when I saw this, I debated back and forth whether to get this for my son's upcoming birthday. Some origami books that are just the same patterns but just re-named to fit the themed book. (i.e. I already have those patterns and would just be buying a book that repeats them under a different name.)NOT the case with this book!1.) The directions and pictures in the book are colorful and great! Even for a newbies to origami (as my son is)2.) There are different levels of projects to try3.) This is NICE quality paper the book was printed on!4.) There are origami patterns I have not seen before in other books I have, they are unique to Harry Potter world5.) Includes some cut out origami paper specific to some of the patterns :)

Cute, nice quality project HP book
I was pleasantly surprised that it is a full size book. It has the pages to do your own origami and is in very good condition and printed on thick, color, glossy paper. Great value!!! My granddaughter will love it! I would say it's moderate to advanced, adult help could be needed for the dragon.. very fast shipping too! Thankyou!

Very cool, definitely not for beginners
My 10-year-old loves origami and is pretty good at it, and this book is pretty advanced for him. I've had to help with almost every attempt, and some of them even I couldn't figure out without looking up a fold or two on youtube. I think the age range (6 and up) is fairly misleading...I don't know any 6-year-olds that could even do the easiest of these.I do like that each project comes with paper to match, makes the finished product look even that much better. For a die-hard harry potter fan that is well-versed in origami, this would be a great gift. For a beginner, not so much.
