Perfect natural look screening installed over existing fence
This willow is top quality, bound together into a sheet of pliable fabric, as it were, with black colored wire of appropriate quality and gauge for this item.I just can’t say enough positive things about this item. Natural, sturdy, pliable. This is how I use it:I cut the 14 foot long roll into thirds, removing one willow stalk on either side of the cut; then refinish the edges by twisting the exposed wire, securing the edge. Then I take each 6 foot wide by about 52” (1/3 of 14’) , and hang it over my 3 foot high existing high wire and post fencing. I don’t even use cable ties to secure it, in my particular installation. So the three foot (36”) fence height is covered, and the remaining 16” lays over the top of the horizontal, and down the other side. Why put willow screening over an existing fence with a hedge? Because I live on the corner of 2 state highways, and my 8 foot tall hedges are too thinly leafed on the bottoms to shield the traffic from my sight. It’s visually startling to me, though little risk. But check out the photos, after & before. This willow makes the perfect screening, a beautiful backdrop for plantings, and the result is a greater sense of privacy. How long does it last? Good question. I can vouch for 5 years and still in absolutely great shape. I suggest that it lasts longer when not in direct unrelenting hot sun, as it may dry the willow.Yes, I highly recommend this item for this type application.

Sturdy and Flexible
This product exceeded my expectations. The color looks much more expensive than bamboo. The willow is stiffer than bamboo. There is plenty of wire so that its not going to come apart. And it shifts easily over variations in elevation. We were going to cut it at one end so that it could be attached to a fence that was a foot higher than the rest. But we just slapped it up there and it made a graceful curve of the abrupt decent. We stapled to the existing 3' foot fence and now both neighbors are happy with the stylish privacy.

Beautiful country feel, well built, will create more privacy, but not total privacy
If you are looking for something that totally blocks the view between you and your neighbor, this is not it. The fact is you are not going to be able to get anything that will totally block the view for this price. I know because I've looked. However, if you are looking for a fence that will cover up your ugly chain link fence and add a country garden feel to your yard, this fence will work just fine. Looking through the fence from inside the yard (sitting still) you can see through the spaces inbetween the willow slats, even though the slats are close together. I don't think they could have made the slats any closer than they are. If you are driving up, however, you can barely see anything. I plan to grow vines up the fence. It gives me a little more privacy, adds to the beauty of the yard, blocks out the ugly fence and what's on the other side and in my case is a deer deterrent. I plan to eventually put willow fencing at different heights around my entire yard and grow morning glories or other vines over it.

It's great folded to create a screen
I folded it over a 4×6 feet wide wood structure, to create a privacy screen. It's durable and beautiful.

This screen is Sheer!
I thought that this item would provide more privacy and block more of the area behind it but it is transparent providing no more privacy than a transparent curtain in your window. We will be building a fence instead.

Nice looking, easy to work with, and hold up to weather.
This fencing looks great on my small balcony. I got the 6ft fence and cut it in half to double the length and fit my 3ft balcony railing. It was easy enough to cut on a miter saw and stays together well. Zip tied it to the railing and it looks really nice. It keep our small dog from poking her head through or walking to our neighbor's side of the balcony. Pair with a string of lights it's a cozy private place to be. We've had it in place through a few storms and it still looks as good as new.

Nice rustic look, not super private
I see what others complained about. Mine measured 13ft laying on the ground after two of us stretched it gently and once it was nailed up it didnt give much privacy but I had anticipated that and backed it with cheaper reed fencing which I got at Home Depot and which also has suffered in quality over the years. Also the wire was a black coated steel wire which didnt seem super heavy duty but was okay. My biggest complaint was whatever the clear sealer they coated it with smells oily and has a chemical wreak to it and in the process of carrying it around both my helper and I started itching like crazy on the inside of our forearms. He jokingly asked me if it was made out of poison oak vines. That stuff is nasty, whatever those Chinese are coating it with, probably causes cancer. I certainly would be using the fencing for any interior projects. All in all though I like the look of the willow, nice change from reed or bamboo and really tougher than reed by a long shot.

Awesome solution for a little privacy barrier
The was a perfect solution for a privacy barrier in our backyard. We used it for a stretch of our property where we didn't want to put up a full fence and this is a very nice looking alternative. Very sturdy for what it is and worth the slightly higher price compared to what you'd find at home depot. We bought several and are very happy with them.
