I mix this with Gulf paraffin wax to lower the melting point of the paraffin to around 105-110F for use as a hot wax lubricant for bike chains. I use lamp oil because it has a narrower molecular weight distribution than fuel kero. In winter I use a bit more kero in the mix to lower the melting point and keep the wax from flaking off the chain. In summer, I use a bit less kero. For about 1/5 the cost of commercial hot wax chain lubricants such as Silka, I get 95% of the performance. I bought this because Wal-Mart quit carrying Lamp Oil.

Came quickly and was packaged well. Clear was nice and I was able to add my own lamp oil color. Not much smell. Bright flame.

I had ordered a case of parafin oil and the box had come damaged. Oil leaked every where. I contacted the company immediately. They contacted me in no time. They helped me out very quickly. I use this oil for my lanterns at my cabin. We do use a lot of it, so I will definitely be buying from them again. Best oil for my lamps. Burns well.

I like to light an oil lamp in the evenings as I watch TV. This product works as intended, but it is most certainly not odorless. After a while, if I leave the room and come back again, I can detect a distinct odor. It's not overwhelming, but it is there.

Use this in Crystal oil candlesticks and they are burning clear and clean.

Please don't use this oil in a small clay lamp. The fumes will ignite and the lamp it's self burns all over. You need to use a thicker oil. Such as olive oil or vegetable oil in these lamp and a good thick wick.
