Griffin Survivor Case for iPhone 5C - Black/Clear

I have recently upgraded my cellphone and bought the iPhone 5c, I wanted a case to protect the phone and show off the great color. After reading through reviews, I gave this case a chance, and I'm so glad I did! I've never had a problem dropping with my phone until the upgrade, my cat can't stop knocking it off the table while it charges. So far it's landed face down on three different occasions, it's working great and doesn't have a scratch on it. The case looks great, was easy to put on, isn't bulky, and really protects my phone.

A little more "low profile" than expected. It keeps the phone thin and light which is an attractive feature. Even after reading the positive reviews, I still doubt the protection if this were to fall face first. I still give this 4 stars because it seems like it will protect the phone if it drops (on anything but its face), is low profile, doesn't add a lot of weight and allows the color of the iPhone 5c to show through the clear protective back.

I bought this for my son after reading the positive reviews. I thought it would be good protection for his phone. Unfortunately the case did not even last two weeks. He dropped his phone tonight, not even too far off the ground, and his phone screen shattered. Big bummer. Now we have to pay to get his screen replaced. We will be investing money in an otterbox or much more protective case which is what we should have done in the beginning. Lesson learned.

I ordered it for a Christmas gift and it came a little late, but I ordered it late. The Apple store doesn't carry this, so if you really need this brand get it here.

This clear backed case fits my iphone 5c like a glove. No issues with bubbling or sticking as there are with other higher priced models. Packaged like it was on a store shelf, though came out of the box already scuffed up a bit. Not all that noticeable once it's on the phone, but it was a little disappointing. The case covers the front frame of the phone, so you cannot see the phone color from the front (exactly like the images provided). FYI - this product does not include a screen protector. Overall, good quality product for a low cost. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

have this in a white 5C that I gave away! Looked awesome then, still going strong! Nice grip. If there is a drawback it is that the clear scratches easily- even just sitting on the arm of a couch. I have a much cheaper one by Jtek that is anti-scratch coated. Not as heavy though or grippy- so depends on what you are looking for! Recommend this one anyhow!

This product arrived very quickly and although I was expecting the case to be a little harder and even heavier, it really met my expectations. The protection it provides has been good so far and the reduction in weight (from having used a much heavier Otterbox) has been noticed by my wife who is the user of this phone. It is also good that the back of the case is clear as it allows the girly color of the iPhone to be shown and that's something she enjoys.Good price and great delivery time combined with fit and function is a winner combination for me!Thank you.

I really wanted a clear case for my iPhone 5C. I tried one that was entirely made out of clear acrylic but it chipped and cracked on the corners fairly quickly. While this case isn't all clear, it's mostly clear so I can still enjoy the color of my phone but offers really good protection. The corners are well protected and also prevent the phone from landing flat due to it's raised edges - very smart design. I also found that the all-clear phone case would slip out of my back pockets way too easily. The rubber edges on this case offer a bit of non-slip resistance, which is nice.
