I love this set! The tiles are beautiful and sturdy but light enough to be a pleasure to use. Be careful though! There are 8 flowers AND 8 seasons in the main set. Be sure to remove the seasons before American play.

Wanted to fun things up a bit in my weekly Mahjongg game. The Koi tiles are colorful and very unexpected. Everyone commented on them and they made people smile. It’s all about the fun meter, yes? Would definitely purchase again!

Inaugurated this beautiful mahjong set today with friends. Everyone loved how pretty it is and they were all envious of me! Mission accomplished! The swimming koi on the backs of the tiles are very unique. I use a dark blue felt table cloth so they will look like they are swimming in water--it's a lovely effect. The tiles are very, very slightly shorter than the sets my friends have from the National Mahjong League and they are just a little tiny bit lighter. They still feel good in the hand and not in any way cheap. Naturally I dropped one on the tile floor where we were playing, but it stood up to the abuse very well. The designs on the tiles are bold and the blue color is especially very striking. The wooden case and racks are very well made as are the interior boxes. This product arrived promptly and was well packaged. I am truly pleased with it and look forward to many years of enjoyment with it.

This box was damaged on arrival. Tape holding it together but when opened smelled like urine and had mouse droppings all over the inside. Inside wrapping paper was shredded. Couldn’t open the box further because of the stench Returned same day. Yuck!

Beautiful set. The racks and pusher bars are not well connected.

I sent this set to my mother as a birthday present and she was very pleased with the quality and the beauty of the case and tiles. She has been hosting a group for a while and is super happy to have her own set. This was pricier than other sets but worth in my opinion. You can't go wrong picking this set.

The set is expensive but beautiful. Whenever it was my turn to host, I received complements on the set. I had an issue with one of the tiles and the vendor (YMI) went above and beyond to rectify it. Their customer service was outstanding and I would not hesitate to order from them again.
