Read the reviews, tried them... Love them. I truly prefer these to plastic generics. These fit my JennAir compactor like a glove. I have found them to leak, rarely and only under duress. One really shouldn't be pouring liquids in to a compactor... yeah, OK some things kinda liquify and I've had some leakage if that gets too bad. I just don't do that. They go in my compactor easily, come out easily... And have less plastic so they're more 'green' than the full plastic alternatives if you care about that stuff. I do. Saw some complaints that the bags tear up. I just don't see that if you remove them properly. I had one tear and I thought "OK, I'm a dork" because I saw why it tore. The top of the bag has split corners to allow it to fit down around the sides of the compactor... which it does nicely. Because they're split corners, if you aren't careful about how you remove the bag you could totally tear down those corners. If you think about it before just grabbing and yanking that sucker out of there, you might fold the edges back up...unrolling them so you have a high top portion you can pull together towards the center of the compactor space and pull vertically to remove the bag. It slides out smoothly and no tearing problem. I've had no issues since my realization I was making my own life hard. These are good quality bags, they fit wonderfully... good price, give them a try.

I'm glad to see someone took the reins from Sears and continue to manufacture a high quality, sturdy compactor bag. Sears' answer to their once sold branded product was scrapped for its replacement...a totally plastic, limp, impossible to close and secure bag that, in my opinion, was absolutely useless!! This bag has everything the original had and at a reasonable price. Stay away from the rediculous prices of those manufacturers who demand $70+ for their bags. These get the job done and fit perfectly! I'm a fan.

I’d given up finding garbage compactor bags that didn’t break the bank. I couldn’t be happier with this product! Price is as amazing as the bag! I can tell little to no difference when comparing these to NAME BRAND BAGS. The fit is perfect, I don’t use my compactor for any liquid filled items, so I can’t speak to whether they leek or not. I can say they had led everything I put in them : metal food cans, plastic soda bottles of all sizes ,and all kinds of paper products . Not a tear to be found. I highly recommend these bags and my mother is now buying them for her compactor!

I've had my compactor for years and I've always used plastic bags. These plastic bags almost always RIP and they don't slide out easily either. HATED those bags. Every brand I tried. Then I found these. Lemme tell ya what! These are the awesomest, sturdiest, bestest trash compactor bags ANYWHERE! I love them! They are sturdy. The fit is perfect. They dont RIP and tear on the way out. And out of more than 100 bags used only 1, maaaaaybe 2 have EVER leaked on me and that's only because I put glass on the sides instead of directly on the center. So... My fault! Not the bag's! 110% recommend these awesome bags. You won't regret it!

I have use only Bestair bags for many years but I have ordered another brand that is half as expensive. We'll see.

I buy these every time that I need new compactor bags for my Sears Kenmore Compactor. I was so pleased that they were on sale so I bought three packages. They last me a long time even with three teenagers and three adults living in the same household. My husband is a baker and loves to bake and cook so we go through a lot of garbage. These bags can really stand up to the garbage and we let them really get compacted. They are very good with keeping the leakage in and they are very easy to place in the compactor with the folded over flaps. I have a bag carrier that just lifts this bag out when it is finally time to take it to the garbage can out front. The best time to get these bags are when they are on sale even if you don't need them yet. I love how they fit and how they work!!!

I was shocked when the price of bags nearly doubled at my local source. Tried these because I saw good ratings and the price is unbelievable. These are a quality product. I have used for the past 4 years and won't buy anything else. the have a paper outside plus the plastic inside. there have been times when we have filled to what I think is beyond capacity (translation: kids did not take out trash) and held up like a champ. highly recommend!

(Update June 14, 2015--Amazon raised the price. Now they are more expensive than other bags. It was good while it lasted--should have bought more)I was skeptical of the price--it was simply too low. I thought to myself "Are these bags any good?" Then I read some reviews and some people said they were good, but some said they tore too easily. So, finally, I bought some and tried them out and compared them with others that Amazon sells for around $13 for 12. Conclusion: they are good and work well, and I have not had a problem with them tearing. They seem like about the same weight as the $13 bags. I will definitely buy them again. They are about 1/3 of the price of the bags that Sears sells. I remember when Sears used to sell their bags for $8.95 for 12, now they charge around $22 for 12. BestAir trash bags work well and do the job. Why spend all that money on Sears when BestAir will do the job? I wanted to compare them with the current Sears bags, but couldn't bring myself to pay the money to compare. Sears may be a little heavier, but I can't say for sure.
