Glass liquid measuring cups are better.
Easy to read and there is ample room above the one cup mark so you won't overfill and spill. The dishwasher wears the lettering out on my glass measuring cups over time but they last longer and look much better than plastic ones. Also an advantage being able to heat measured liquids in the microwave without concerns.

Pyrex has created a great measuring cup
I love good kitchen supplies. Having the right supplies makes cooking so much easier and more enjoyable. The dimensions for measuring is clearly marked and easy to visualize. The cup is sturdy and has a good weight. Dishwasher safe. Cleaning does not remove the etching. This is my favorite measurement size.
