Yes, this is the correct replacement cable required for certain portable Sylvania DVD players.Here's why: compare the two plugs in the first picture. The top one is THIS plug -- it's 17mm long, the length required for the video jacks. Other more common plugs (like the bottom one) are only about 14mm long, and don't fit all the way into the jack, therefore they don't work.Glad I was able to find a cable with the right length plugs. They're far less common and harder to find. Now I got both screens working for my kids again.

I just got this in the mail expecting it not to get here for another few days! And this has been the third av cable that I’ve tested with the insignia dual DVD players and is the ONLY one to work for both video and audio! So happy because one of my kids is forward facing and the other is rear facing so this worked perfectly. PS, make sure both sides are plugged in all the way!!

Perfect conditions as expected

Finally one that works with the car dvd screens. Tries cheap ones that looked the same, but they would not plug in all the was and only played audio. These worked like a charm.

Will not work for turbo 2 output

Works great! We have a forward facing car seat and a rear facing car seat and this was able to easily connect the two units in a mini van, running it across the floor so we could have a passenger in the middle seat, with cord to spare. Arrived well ahead of promised date!
