I live in a dry climate and I cannot sleep without lip balm. I've tried some fancy lip masks but they're too sticky. This is great - perfect texture, super moisturizing, prevents cracked lips, mild scent, and SPF. I have them all over my house and car. My husband and son stole some and requested more. The mint is my favorite - it's mild. The lemon is too sugary and the blackberry is just okay.

I just got this earlier today and I’m already prepared to say this is hands down the best all around lip product I’ve tried. First, there is ZERO sunscreen taste! I hate the taste of spf chapsticks. This one is SPF 25 and you’d never know. Second, it is SO moisturizing! I have only applied it TWICE all day today! What?! Honestly I didn’t even get it for the moisturizing quality, I got it for the SPF and I’m so impressed. I got the mint and it is very refreshing but not overwhelming at all, slightly tingly at first but it goes away. Already added another one to my cart. Where has this been all my life?

I get dry chapped lips quite easily. For years, I’ve tried about twenty different lip products and have the habit of constantly reapplying them, even when I wake up in the middle of the night. A few months ago, I hesitantly (because of a bit higher price) bought a 3-pack of Jack Black balms, and am so glad I did. The balm has a thicker consistency than most others that come in a squeeze tube. When applied, it feels thick but not uncomfortable. The fruit scents smell a bit like fruity cereal, but the mint is mild and pleasant.I can apply this, and it lasts for hours, even for someone like me who frequently rubs her lips together. This is by far my favorite lip balm ever, and I have recommended it to several people. Gone are the days of testing new balms. The price of this product is well worth every penny.

This is AMAZING!! I use this day and night even tho it’s meant for morning use. When I wake up I have super juicy lips! I got the shea butter vitamin e one and it’s so moisturizing! There’s also no overpowering scent that gives me a headache putting it on. I wanna try the lemon one after mine finishes. Don’t know how I ever lived without this- might not ever be able to go back to Vaseline lol

For the quick synopsis, skip to the last sentence!I always get chapped lips in the winter, but this year has been bizarrely bad! I have not seen my lips dry up and flake like this before. Some advised I see a dermatologist, and of course, asked if I was drinking enough water. (Not to say I shouldn't have visited or I do drink enough water).I'm in a routine of applying a lip treatment after showering (aquaphor lip repair), and applying a chapstick or balm a few times throughout the day. (I've tried a dozen(s) types over the years and tried a few new this season). They may get a bit scaly half way through the day or in the end, but again, not like this. I purchased another new balm to try along with the others I already had, and they would help or delay the dry mess for awhile, but none of them seemed to really prevent the dry lip horror by the end of the day.Maybe the air in my home was too dry? I bought a humidifier in hopes of helping my lips and my skin, as my hands get rough in the winter as well. A week went by and I didn't see notable improvement (not to say there aren't other benefits to having the humidifier, as we know. I am still happily utilizing it).After spending an evening at my parents house for dinner, little did I realize my dry lips had returned in full force. I knew they were dry, but after my mother commented on it and I looked in a mirror, YIKES. She insisted I use some of her Vaseline Petroleum Jelly and keep it, so I did. I started applying it at night and after showering, and it really seemed to help. I read more about the product later and found there is controversy around the pros and cons of it, but from my personal experience, I can attest that for me it is effective and beneficial. It tamed and removed or prevented my ghastly flakes and relieved my thirsty lips.A day before I was given the Vaseline I had browsed new products and ended up purchasing this Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 in Shea Butter & Vitamin E. I looked forward to its arrival to see how well it may work, though I didn't hold my breath. If it did work, however, it'd be what I'd use during the day.To my delight and surprise, it worked really well! When I apply it before the dryness starts to show itself, or after it has begun, it wipes it away. It's easy to apply, isn't super sticky or annoying, has a non-offensive smell and flavor, and can go under or on top of lip color as well.HOORAY!!!And guess what?Active Ingredients:Avobenzone 3% ... SunscreenOctinoxate 7.5% ... SunscreenPetrolatum 40.2% ... Skin ProtectantPETROLATUM... another term for petroleum jelly.Well doesn't that just make sense. I'll be darned.
