Hengsong Reusable Feminine Protection Cup Menstrual Cup 12 Hours (Big, Pink)

I have been using this consistently every month for a year and a half and I will never go back to regular products again! This makes my period just like any other day. It takes some practice to get used to the placement to avoid leaks but once you have it down, it can truly stay in for up to 12 hours without even having to think about it. I will be ordering another one for hygiene since this once is getting a bit old, but I have not noticed any break down in the material or defects in the design. It is also nice because it helps you to be more aware of what is going on with your body. You can measure the amount of discharge you are having, and other details if you wish. The mess is minimal with the pull tab as well. If you want to pay over $30 or $40 for a brand name product similar to this, be my guest, but this one works fantastic and will change your life!

Ok, I can feel the end of this a little bit, but it's only when I go to the bathroom and push it out. As long as it is pushed up far enough, I don't feel the tip of it at all. It's like installing a tampon - if you don't keep it pushed in enough, you'll feel it a bit.I appreciate that it's thicker than others, because this makes it easier to install properly so that the top pops out like it should. The thinner ones I've used have a harder time with the folded part popping out once it's inside. The handle is obviously easy to grip without slipping, and it's a little difficult to break the vacuum but other than that, removal is simple.Not really a five star experience, but it's not bad either.

I do like this product more than other hygiene products. I do recommend buying this before one of the more expensive alternatives because, at least in my case, I didn't know if I was even going to like the product and I would much rather have only paid $4 for something I ended up not liking than $35. Thankfully, this was not the case and I do really enjoy this product. I would recommend dedicating almost the entire first day to figuring out the mechanics of this device because it does have a learning curve and you WILL have to develop a technique that works best for your body. My favorite fold was the "7 fold" as it got the cup slightly smaller than the "C fold." Finally, my most important piece of advice for this product is to persevere. Half way through day 1 I almost gave up. Now, days later, I am SO glad I kept at it. I enjoy this product and would likely get it again! ( But I hope I don't have to and that it lasts.) (;

The cup itself is fine and seems to be the right size. If this is the first time using one, Please make sure you research how to properly insert and remove or you will make a big mess. I would not recommend this cup if you have a heavy flow, as it seems quite small compared to some others, but it is fine for me. The only complaint I have with this, is the tip and its odd shape on the end, I get that it was put there so it is easier to grab...However, I feel that is feels uncomfortable in that area and maybe should have kept the stem just straight ( maybe textured?). I think I am going to look at other products that have a plain stem for more comfort when wearing.

I've used a diva cup for years but I wanted to get a spare for a while and purchased two of these (one small one large) for comparison. The silicone is a little thicker than the diva cup and the seams are more visible but they work as well as any other cup and look like they will last a long time. The Heart and Moon nibs rubbed my labia raw when I left them on though, I snipped them off just under the symbols. The remaining handle is long enough to get a good grip on it (and it's ribbed) for placement or removal. An extremely cost-effective replacement for having a name brand item (was $4 at time of purchase versus $30 for a Diva). Highly recommend.

UPDATE: I do NOT recommend this cup! The material deteriorated over time and the quality is noticeably different compared to the other cups I own. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more fit peace of mind and your own health.I tried out this cup for a couple of months before writing a review. I was honestly skeptical about this product due to the price in comparison to some others in the category. Before this, I had never used this style of cup (reusable) before, and had a negative experience with a disposable type on the first time trying those out. I then I decided to order this one after hearing good things about the reusable types. I saw some good reviews for this one, though, so I thought I would try it out.I can say that I'm very happy with this product. I can't compare it to others on the market because as I said, it's the first reusable cup of this type that I've used. I think it's definitely a great deal for what you pay for! I've been using it for a few months now, and I only have had good experiences with it. Without getting into detail, I'll say that it's comfortable and the quality of the cup is great. I haven't had any negative reactions to the cup's material, and the size is comfortable for me (if you're not sure what size you should get, I recommend doing some research).I will note that I personally had to cut the stem on this cup - this is normal with menstrual cups from what I've read, because everyone's body is different. Again, I recommend doing research on this and trying it out before altering your cup at all. Even with that, the grips on the cup itself make it easy to remove.To clean my cup, I use the boiling method. I can't speak for how this cup reacts to washes, wipes, etc. I personally boil some water on the stove in a kettle, then place my cup in a glass jar. I pour the boiling water in the jar, then put it in the microwave for about five minutes. This has kept my cup clean, and it hasn't degraded at all in the months that I've used it.If you want to try out a menstrual cup and aren't sure about sinking a lot of money into one, I definitely recommend this product! I know that I won't be buying a more expensive one because this one is honestly perfect for me.
