Accurate dependable scale
This scale is very accurate. I compared my weight on it to my doctor’s scale. Absolutely on point. It does take some adjusting to start at zero, but the numbers don’t lie!

Determine Weight Without Frustration
For people like myself of the old school, this is the scale to buy. It has ample room for your feet. You step on it and read your weight. Some people who are more modern can rightly argue that the digital scales available are more accurate. But the accuracy they are obtaining is insignficant for my purposes. I found it sufficiently accurate. I went for my semi-annual visit to my doctor on Thursday. My weight was taken by the nurse on their new tall, expensive digital scale. On Friday I stepped on my Health O Meter; it read the same weight. Perhaps not to the ounce, but who cares? The scale is well-made and rugged, and very, very easy to read. I am a retired engineer and quite acquainted with the properties of bias, precision, and accuracy as they apply to instruments, such as my new scale. Since I am not concerned about the exact weight of a payload being shot into orbit, this scale is more than suitable to let me know if I am over-eating. The digital scale we already own requires you to touch it, step off, then step on. Even then the reading will vary depending on how hard you jump back on. This Health O Meter scale dial does waver with the person's movement, but you can see the average. You can't see that on a digital scale. You get one reading. If you want an average, you have to do the drill about five times.

Consistent
No matter how much the cost or who makes it, you are going to get those 1 star reviews that make you go hmmm and keep looking. But eventually you have to take the plunge and declare 1star reviews whatever! This scale replaced our sometimey digital. It’s huge, heavy and clunky. We don’t have floor space to leave it down so it’s propped up against a bathroom cabinet. All of that said, it’s more accurate than any of the digital scales we’ve owned. I’m glad we got it.

Tipsy
Thinking the company’s name stood for accuracy and steady performance I’m puzzled over the scale’s needle persistently tipping over to 2-3 lbs after I get off even though I zeroed it before stepping on the scale. The instructions say this is to be expected in the beginning but getting on and off several times will correct this. That’s fine, but but I’ve had the scale over a week and the problem is still there. I’ll give this scale one more week. If the problem continues, then I’ll return the scale.Update: I tried out the scale longer than a week, just to be sure. Well, it got worse. The above problem persisted and then there was more: If I moved a little bit, the weight changed; if I moved yet some more, the weight changed each time.To put all this in perspective, this scale cost $83, *4X* the cost of inexpensive, Bluetooth enabled digital scales. For this price, I expect it a) works out of the box and b) I’ll never have to return it. Put another way, the price would have bought me four of the digital scales.I returned the scale today, just a day shy of the deadline. Lesson learned, one that I hope you will not need to have.

Still on the fence
I just received this product today. I love that the numbers are easy to read and the size of the scale. I don’t love that every time I weigh myself I have to zero the scale out. It makes no sense. I’m gonna try it a few days and update the review.Updated: I’ve been using the scale for about a week. It’s definitely accurate but I do have to zero out every few times now. I’ve been using 3 different scales and they all read the same weight.

Easy read
I had digital scales, broke down after few months, so bought old fashion analog scales but have to return all due to poor visibility and clarity. This one however is the best. Although a bit large, it is very easy readable , accurate and durable. Would highly recommend.

Keep looking.
This is a big scale. Easy to read but the actual weighing is iffy. This will give you a different weight depending on how you stand on the scale and where you put your weight. For example if i stand with my weight on the balls of my feet, i weigh 3-5 pounds more than when i stand normally. Also there is a difference if you stand more to the front of the scale than to the rear. Not overly happy with this scale.

Works well
I had to replace my previous Health o meter scale that I had been using for over 20 years. This one seems to be very accurate, and this is what I wanted.
