Works perfect now that I got it on!I had to trim the rubber piece to get the pieces to fit my handlebars. Definitely make sure that there is rubber making contact on both of the two pieces or else it will slip, no matter how tightly you crank it down.Also be sure to not trim the rubber too much like I did.....I just shoved one of the smaller pieces back in....working well!Note — my water bottle does not stay in because it’s not tapered like a regular cup. For reference in my pic, that’s an iced venti reusable Starbucks cup. I’ll try out a few other sizes and update my review.

*update* I left this cup holder on my bike for a couple weeks even though it didn’t work. I decided to give the rubber another try and to my surprise it slid in, I tightened the screw and it worked! Held up over the cobblestone streets of Philly. Still only 4 stars, because it was such a pain to install. With some patience this product can work!This product is a dud. After a couple hours of trying to get it on and stable I’m giving up. The rubber does not ‘grip’ the handle bars and no matter how tight the screw is the cup holder continues to spin around. It is meant to be a tight fit, but just could not get it to work for my bike. Too bad, because it is a pretty neat, simple design.

It's nice... but it comes loose so easily, meaning you have to keep the allen key around to be able to tighten it constantly...also..because there's not a very wide 'wall' on it, the beverage that it's holding slushes around a lot. It's fine if you have a lock tight container, but if you just went to starbucks or dunkin, their paper cups and lids will be spilling out over every bump you hit.

The holder looks like it is well built but it does not clamp down hard enough on the handle bars to keep your drink level. Every time I went over a bump, the holder would slip down. This needs a redesign for a tighter clamp.

Would be a great idea-but no matter what we do, cannot get it to stay straight. Just slides down when a drink is in it and the drink falls on the ground. Tried to put tape under it, plastic-nothing works. Wish it would work because it’s really nice looking :(

Perfect for hard 16 oz. insulated coffee cups on beach bikes. They are hardly noticeable and you can mount them just right so as not to hit them on your bike when turning your handle bars.

Overall I like this cup holder. It is rubber lined so it holds my 20oz cup firmly without scratching. However, it does not grip the bars enough, even with the included rubber spacer, and it slips a bit. I will need to make a thicker spacer for my 22.5mm bars.

Relatively easy to install. Held my coffee just fine, but not too unsurprisingly got splashed by hot coffee going over some bumps.
