Brasso 150ml, metal polish

Just as good as the old brasso. Alittle pricey but if you want something that works.

It works like the old brasso not like the stuff in a plastic bottle

I was looking for the Brasso that everybody talked about "from the good old days" before it became that thick formula stuff. I think that this is exactly what they talked about; I bought this to clean up some video game discs (sounds weird, but people have said it works well). Though my disc isn't perfect (probably because I haven't diligently sat down and tried this on one game), the game I did try this on did start to work, which was a big plus because before it wasn't working much at all. The bottle is about three or four inches high, so it's not that big, and I might buy another eventually if I do use this one completely. Also, I don't think the same vendor I bought from is selling it, because I definitely did not pay $45 for this (that's the price as of this review). If the price does go down nicely, I might consider buying another bottle just in case.Also, mine didn't look exactly as it does in the picture, mine looks more like [...] However, that probably changes from seller to seller)

I purchased this from seller "BE FIRST" - I buy so many things from Amazon that I don't make a habit of researching the seller, but I suppose I should start. If I had known that the product was being shipped from outside the US (Great Britain), I would not have bothered. But that is not my major complaint...The package itself was clearly NOT opened by customs, so they did not do this - but when I opened the bottle, I noticed that it had already been opened as the plastic safety ring had already been separated from the lid. Additionally, when I opened it, the smell nearly made me pass out! It was a very strong burning smell that felt like I had burned the inside of my nostrils! This was not a petroleum type smell either - more like ammonia but much stronger and sharper like knives. I have used Brasso before (both old and new formulas) and there is NO WAY this is Brasso. They would not have stayed in business if their product smelled like this - people would pass out before they got anything polished!!! This product was also more watery than the new Brasso, not less as many complain of. I'm not going to ship it back overseas just so they can resell it to someone else. Now I just have to figure out a way to dispose of it safely.
