Mine was authentic rudraksha
The other reviews I read after ordering had me worried that this would be plastic, but the mala I received was definitely real. Each seed is slightly different in shape and size, and a few are even 4 mukhi instead of 5. If you've ever worked for a plastic shop, making a mold with 108 different fake seeds wouldn't produce a cheap product. Would also be difficult to replicate a rudraksha seeds two toned color and texture in the crevices. Mine was authentic, very happy with it.

A really nice mala. The beads are abut 1/4" in dia. and well strung on a strong string. Each bead is individually knotted making it easy to use for meditation. The tassel is beautiful, this is not always the case. Much nicer than some malas that I have paid more for. Quick delivery from a responsible seller!

For price, excellent quality. Authentic. Note, as usual when you rinse these before use, the thread dye will run, so a simple quick rinse with plain water is advisable only.

Fake
These are fake, made out of plastic. Showed them to an Indian man that worked at an Indian restaurant and he laughed at them. He went and got his real ones and showed me. Do not buy

Strong and durable Mala
Great quality. I have been using this daily for awhile now and I am still happy with it. The chord does not stretch like others I have had and my toddlers tiny grabby hands have not broken it yet.

The mala is not exactly like in the photo, but what is most important is that it is real Rudraksha. I did all the tests: it sinks in the water, it goes clockwise when the water is good and in the opposite direction when it is not good, and finally, I cut one bead and it is really a Rudraksha.
