I loved that these weren't round like what typical American chopsticks were. After going overseas and learning that flat ones were used in Korea, I had to learn how to use this type from scratch. Now that I'm home again, I'm going to keep using these because they're great quality, easy to wash, and don't have a metallic aftertaste.

I was surprised at how comfortable these chopsticks are to use. Not too heavy, but also not flimsy. I love that I can throw them in the dishwasher and use them over and over again. There is some texture on the ends that helps hold food so it doesn’t slip off them. I keep a pair at work to eat snacks with so I don’t get my hands messy while I’m typing. I also keep a pair in my bag so if I go out to eat I don’t need disposable ones. I much prefer these metal ones now and I love not using and throwing away wood or plastic. Just one more buy-it-for-life item that I don’t need to worry about replacing.

From a construction standpoint these are great. They're beautifully made. However being a smooth stainless steel there isn't a lot of grip on the food like you might find with wooden chopsticks. Being non-Asian we haven't used chopsticks all our lives so don't have a built-in hand strength from years of using them on a daily basis. I would think if you are proficient chopstick user these are very good. What I like about them is that they aren't just one-time use and go right in the dish washer to clean and always ready to use.

These are the best chopsticks. Very sturdy. Easy to clean in the dishwasher. We use these all the time, Even when we get takeout wooden chopsticks. Highly recommend!

Our son is 10 and loves using chopsticks for everything. I bought him this pack for home so he would have them to use instead of the wooden ones you normally get with your carry out.They work great. They are light weight and I can throw them in the dishwasher. This was important to me. He can just toss them in and I don’t have to worry about washing them separate or sitting in the sink with soapy water.

I really like these chopsticks. Wooden chopsticks have bothered me for years; they splinter very easily and are just very wasteful. With the intention of trying to produce less waste, I bought these.The five pairs is a great number to have. I keep a pair in my handbag and my backpack, and the remaining I keep with the regular silverware. They are a little slippery since they are stainless steel, but you get used to them after several uses. They are just a good pack of chopsticks and I see myself bringing using them plenty in the future.

Love these chopsticks. Very easy to use and light weight. Came a week early with prime. Might be a bit slippery for beginners because of the smoothness, but on the plus side it's a lot more sanitary then bamboo or wood and much easier to clean. Does not stain either.
