Not bad for what you pay!
So I have had this now for well over a year, and only now it has gave its life to be retired, would stream daily on tiktok and twitch, this thing never failed me or had any tec issues, always worked from the day it arrived, until last night, I went to record a YouTube video to find it at almost 60°c and I mean burning hot, I tried to change usb ports and lower the power on the pc to see if that was the issue but I believe its just time for the little fella! Not of course 4k output but I stream and upload at 1080p so perfect for me! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic!
I use this to put another computer on my desktop for installation etc. The picture quality and latency is absolutely fine for this purpose, as it would be for streaming a sub-HD video source, however don't expect a crisp image similar to plugging your HDMI cable into a monitor, because that's not what you get and you really shouldn't expect that from such a low-cost device. If you want to stream from a PC or modern console to twitch or such, you should probably look at a much more expensive device, however this will do the job at a fuzzy push. For other purposes such as I mentioned earlier, or in a DIY iKVM (eg tinypilot) solution though, it's fantastic and incredible value for money.

How to fix audio skipping on Windows 10
Works well after some initial fiddling to get it going. It does come with some instructions and to be fair they do mention what I'm about to say, but I didn't find it very clear so I thought I'd put some instructions here in case it helps someone else solve the same problem I had.I'm using it on Windows 10 and the audio was skipping every few seconds. This is because the device uses a sample rate of 48000Hz but by default Windows tries to use it at 44100Hz. Here's how to change the settings:1: Press Window key-R to open the Run command.2: Type "control mmsys.cpl sounds" (without the quotes) then press enter.3: Click the "Recording" tab.3: Double click on the device labelled "Digital Audio Interface - FHD Capture".4: Click the "Advanced" tab.5: In the "Default Format" section at the top of the window, click the drop-down and select "2 channel, 16 bit, 48000Hz (DVD Quality)".6: Press OK to close both windows. You might need to restart the software that's using the device or maybe the whole computer. After that it should work without skipping. At least it did for me.I also discovered that moving it to a different USB port causes Windows to see it as a new device again so it resets back to the wrong setting and has to be changed again.

Great for the money you spend.
I have just ventured into the world of streaming and bought this to capture my switch to my laptop. It can handle low intensity games such as cosy Sims but anything fast paced and high movement will result in considerable frame drops. The picture quality is great and the sound is also good. Would definitely recommend for new streamers who don't want to invest too much money at the beginning.

Simply plug and play
I have been researching capture cards for a while, this one is not only cheaper than others on Amazon but works probably just as well.Where lots of people are using ‘zoom’ or other video call software to connect with family and friends at this unprecedented time, this capture card has allowed me to simply plug my DSLR camera into my laptop and zoom automatically identifies it as a video input for HD zoom calls.Furthermore, with this capture card I am now also able to plug my Xbox directly into my laptop and select this as a video feed for zoom as well, perfect for playing Jackbox games with friends over zoom.

Does not work with MacOS!!!
Bought this capture card as an alternative for the Elgato Cam Link which is not working with my GoPro Hero 4 Silver for some reason.Intended to use this with my GoPro Hero 4 Silver as a webcam, with OBS on my Mac.My MacBook Pro is maxed out 13" 2016 Touch Bar version.Tried many variations, resetting my camera/change the settings.Tried to use it with OBS and Quicktime for recording and checking the image quality but nothing.Managed to hook it up with my friends PC and with OBS I could make it work. This way at least I know my unit is not faulty.Still this device is useless for me as I don't own a PC and not going to get one for only this reasons I'm returning it!

An absolute steal!
Let's be honest. This capture card is a direct competitor of the Elgato Cam Link. Now, the Elgato is a 4K 60 Fps card but honestly, most of us don't need that and the 10080p this card offeres is more than sufficient for most peopole and givn that it's at least £100 cheaper than the Elgato, well, it's a complete no brainer. This card is a plug & play device, works perfectly with stunning picture quality. I have used it with my GoPro Hero 7 Black and it gave amazing results. If you need a capture solution, look no further.

It costs <£10, and out performs the Elgato HD60S
It works on MacOS, out of the box, with OBS. No poopy NDS drivers. No sending users to github to install unsupported, un OS trusted third party drivers.*IT JUST WORKS*. No lag, no fuss, no bloated drivers, no hidious control panel, acts like a webcam, native to your operating system! It's not the highest quality capture device there is, but it's better than devices literally x20 times the price, and supports all sorts of essoteric framerates and frame sizes. This device is a minor miracle, especially considering the price.
