Walk With Me A Father's Story: A Guided Journal of Memories For My Child - Prompt Journal Memory Book From a Father To His Children

I was waffling on whether to buy this father's memory book over all of the other possibilities, especially since there were hardly any reviews on this particular one. I cared most about the number and kind of questions asked - I didn't want anything too religious, superficial, or tied to a specific generation, and I wanted it to be about as long as the one I got for my mom last year. This book satisfies all of these requirements, with some really thoughtful questions that I can't wait to read his answers to. The design is elegantly simple, which is perfect for my dad, and there's a full page (~20 lines) for each prompt so he has plenty of space to write (and boy will he write!!). I'm including a couple photos of some of the sections so subsequent prospective buyers can get a better sense of what this book is all about. My only wish is that it came in hardcover so it had more of an heirloom feel for future generations; that said, for a paperback, it seems pretty well put together (we'll see - I just opened it) and should be easy to write in.

I purchased both the mother and father books as gifts for my parents. I do genealogy as a hobby and one thing thats stuck with me is how much easier it is when things are documented and saved for future generations. Flipping through both, they seem to cover the bases from childhood into adulthood with a variety of prompts. Highly recommend.

Book is very nicely put together. The questions are very reflective and are separated into different 'chapters' so its almost linear. My dad has been saying for years that he should write a book on his life experiences and this is the perfect book to help him start!

Got this for my significant other as he wanted to start a journal for our newborn. The prompts are very easy to understand and follow. My significant other loves this journal.
