Very Unimpressed
This is only the second stain product I've purchase. I love the first one and should have stuck with it, but read the 2 reviews and did a little research. I don't get it. Tarte LipSurgence has absolutely no color to it, so how can it be called a stain. It does go on smooth, but what's the purpose, there's no color on my lips. It was a waste of money for me. I'll just by a .50 cent tube of chap stick.

Beautiful color, but super drying.
I love the matte dusky pink color, but it's pretty drying... and if I use another balm or even chapstick, it defeats the purpose of wearing in a matte shade. Catch-22! Nice and minty scent though :-)

I love this. I was concerned that it would be ...
I love this. I was concerned that it would be too pink for me as I'm a redhead with a very pale with pinkish undertones. This is a subtle neutral with just enough color to feel like I'm wearing lip color without losing the natural look I like to keep. It also has a slight minty scent and tingle which is nice.

sexy lip tint every chick should own
My first time seeing this product was on a customer I was helping at work. I asked the customer what she was wearing, thinking to myself "that's the perfect tint I've been looking for." This lipstick was a MUST HAVE as soon as I was able to hit the mall. I am in love with this product. Its applicable smooth on the lips.( If your lips are dry from the weather, I would apply lip balm after applying this.)I love the refreshing light peppermint smell and the taste it gives. The color is matte and very natural. It looks great with any skin tone. The color-stay is moderate, even after eating and drinking. I am beyond satisfied with Tarte LipSurgence, and all the products I have tried by Tarte.

Love it! Exposed is my favorite color! Makes a lovely nude lip. Only 4the stars because it doesn't last all day. Have to reapply every few hours.

You Can Find A LOT Better...Especially at This Price
This is the kind of lip "balm" that feels waxy/oily and doesn't deliver a lot of color. Yes, it feels very moisturizing, but so do many others that do deliver a good color without the oily feel. I've been on a mission to find a really good lipstick/lip gloss, so I've tried a lot! For this price, you can find better...and I haven't even had to sharpen it yet...

Perfect
Absolutely perfect. Just the right amount of color for an everyday lip tint and looks very natural. Also note: they must have changed the container because I did not find the lid hard to remove at all.
