Blisstime Bee Hive Bee Smoker Stainless Steel with Heat Shield Beekeeping Supplies and Equipment

I am pretty new to beekeeping, and burned my other smoker accidentally. To replace the bellows is about the same price as buying this new one. Decent light enough weight, not to overly thin, so should last a decent time. This one is a bit taller than standard smokers, and it's great if you have several hives to inspect in one run. Will smoke for a good long time with the additional fuel you can add

I purchased this smoker to replace a prior unit that broke after a few years and think it works well. It is well constructed and I think will last for several years. I appreciate that it has a cage around it to prevent you accidentally burning your hand. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

This smoker is really good for the price you get smoking pellets which is a huge plus. Works just like any other bee smoker and since it’s a very reasonable price for everything you get I am very happy to be able to say it is definitely worth getting.

Metal is thin and the lid is bad about falling off the little tab, but it was cheap so really didn't expect much.

I am new to keeping bees and I bought a bunch of equipment as I was researching what I'd need. I got this smoker, because I thought I needed one. As it turns out, all smokers are not equal. This one is very lightweight and seems to be a little lower quality. The lid does not close easily. It gets very hot. So far, my bees just get mad when I use it. They are a pretty docile variety and I'm finding less smoke, or none, might be a better option for my bees. Anyway, if you are getting a smoker, get a better quality one.

Just arrived (promptly) and started and fired it up with only pine needles I gathered around my area. Watched videos on how to use and after viewing one person doing it all with just pine needles , I tried it. No need for paper, cardboard , or anything else to start a flame. The only hitch with pine needles is that they can jam the lid if protruding when the lid is closed and make it difficult to open. If I can't push all the needles out of the way , I clip them with a siccors. Makes a lot of smoke for a small unit . Will save the pellets for backup . Made a tappered smoother plug from aluminum foil. Bought this and a bee suit to get rid of bees that are infesting the the area between the roof and facial around garage. Exterminators quoted $700 on up . With my own equipment , I ready if any bees that might reappear or other future pests . May even do side jobs , Have Smoker Will Travel

Nothing else to say, I have little comparaison to make with other products in this category, but I'm satisifed with what I got. It feels alright when playing with it.
