Okay Armband for Phones
An Okay Armband for PhonesPros-Price-Secure Velcro StrapCons-Generic Case-Not that durable-Armband Not Long Enough-Not WaterproofShould You Buy: NoActual Value: $1-2First semester of college, I joined a physical fitness class where we were required to run around the track around 2 miles a day, 4 times a week. This was torture. Luckily, I had a lot of music on my phone. Problem was, having my phone in my pocket was bothersome and holding it in my hand was not an option. The solution was to buy an armband. While it did help, it almost didn’t make it to the end of the semester.-Design-Being a generic case, I can’t possibly criticize it for not holding my Moto G perfectly. Granted, my phone did fit, there were no cutouts for controlling the buttons and the cheap plastic didn’t allow my phone to be as responsive as it is without it. The strap was not as long as I would’ve liked. The velcro strap is good since it does hold firmly closed around my arm. This presented another problem, as you will see in a moment. Other than that, everything was generic and it worked as promised...for a while.-Quality-Here’s where things start to go wrong. After about 6 weeks of use, the armband started to rip from stretching from the arm. This slowly got worse until by week 13, it was barely hanging by a thread. My phone fit, but barely, and as I mentioned before, the screen was not exactly responsive. Speaking of before, the strap that held it secure was probably the reason why it started ripping. It would not allow the strap to move and is made worse from the lack of flexibility from the strap, which when you’re running and especially when you’re lifting weights. Overall, there was mostly things that should've been better.-Conclusion-Overall, if you are doing exercise temporarily or only need music occasionally, then this will fit you due to the low cost. However, if you are looking for something that’ll last more than 10 weeks, you’re better off looking elsewhere. Usually, if the particular phone you have is popular (ex. iPhone/Samsung) there are custom cases that will fit your phone perfectly. If you’re serious about fitness, I’d recommend you buy the slightly more expensive version.

Excellent for my LG Nexus 4
I am using this case for my LG Nexus 4. I have a thin case on my phone and it fits snugly into the armband. This case wasn't designed specifically for the Nexus 4, but I have had no problems keeping it in the armband while running or lifting weights. The armband itself fits my arm well and is comfortable (for reference, I have 10" biceps). The plastic that covers the screen still allows me to use the touchscreen, although I do have to use a bit more pressure than normal. The armband material does not completely repel sweat; however, even after going on an hour long run (during which I got quite sweaty) my phone remained dry. I have not tested this in the rain and I doubt that I will ever do so.The power and volume buttons are somewhat difficult to access. but that hasn't caused me any problems. Also there is no hole over the headphone jack, but if you're using headphones that have a bent jack, as I am, it isn't a problem at all. It would also be pretty easy to cut a hole yourself. All things considered, this is a fantastic armband for the price. If you have a large smartphone you will not regret buying this armband for it!

Probably the best five bucks I ever spent
To be completely honest, I think this might be the best five dollars I have ever spent on a product. It got here quick, it was absurdly cheap, and yet the material is high quality and feels like I paid 25 dollars for it. As a matter of fact, I think there are some 25 dollar armbands out there that are WORSE quality than this armband.Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase, and I love using it with my iPhone4S. It is a little annoying to not be able to control the phone when it's in the case, but I expected that and most every armband is the same way. It offers more protection from the elements, so it's worth the trade off. I am really surprised how much having an armband affected my running. I have always wanted to get one, but wasn't willing to lay out 25 bucks for it. With this price point, I literally ordered on the spot, and using it makes my runs a lot easier and I get into a flow faster without having to switch hands with my phone and deal with the weight at the end of my arm. I would, and do, recommend this case to everyone looking for an armband. At this price, you could replace it every month and it would still be worth it, but based on the quality I am sure that won't be necessary.

Does what it's supposed to
I have fairly thick arms for a woman, so when I purchased this I was worried it might be too small or not stay up well. The band is adjustable enough to fit well and it stays up with no problems at all. I can use my phone easily through the plastic cover and it sticks to the phone, so I never worry about the phone popping out. One concern others have noted is that the part of the case that goes against the arm is fabric, which feels good against your arm, but it allows moisture to get into the case. So far my phone hasn't suffered any ill effects and it's nothing like dunking it in a pool of water, so I'm not worried. For the price I would definitely recommend it, but the moisture concern prevents me from giving it 5 stars.

Great products, holds well
Got it for an HTC Droid DNA, and it fits perfect. The transparent part is a bit loose, but not enough that it bothers.I used it 2-3 times running and 2-3 times biking for now. Holds well, doesn't slip, is comfortable and phone isn't wet after I sweat all over the place.I would have given 5 stars if there was some kind of cable management system. What I do is just roll the headphones cable behind the phone inside the pouch.UPDATE : More than a month and 150km (95mi) later, it is holding well and I love it. I raised the note to 5 stars because I now believe a cable management system would have just added more clutter to a great product, and tucking the cables inside works well. Plus, it really is a steal at that price!
