I have been very pleased with this product. My doctor suggested I buy HCL since I evidently am not producing enough during digestion of food so I got this product but was a little wary to use it. Let’s just say I’m not wearing anymore. In fact, I love it. I keep it handy even when I travel. Having enough acid in your stomach is vital to digestion, and preventing or at least reducing heartburn a lot! I am not a doctor, but I would say that anyone who has a lot of heartburn or difficulty with digestion might want to consult with their medical personnel, to see what this could be a solution for them. For us it definitely was.

Battling low stomach acid, H Pylori /SIBO and not having a gallbladder, this stuff is so valuable to digestion. Good quality product. Remember to take before meals but have taken after when forget. I carry it with me to make sure I have it available when I need it.

This has been truly life changing for me. The last several years I have had daily and nightly acid reflux. I would have to sleep elevated most nights and even then I sometimes refluxed anyway. I regularly felt like my food was about to come up for hours and hours after eating and that it would take a long time for my food to digest. I even refluxed while fasting for 2 days (which I was doing to try to give my stomach a break and try to stop the reflux. I recently heard the theory that acids reflux can be caused by too little stomach acid. Which made a lot of sense especially since I often felt that my food wasn’t digesting normally. So I thought I would try this…..GAME CHANGER! I haven’t refluxed in the two months that I’ve been taking it with my food!!! I can’t even express how it’s changed my life. I don’t constantly feel like I’m going to throw up that meal from 4 hours ago, I can’t even express bend over after eating, I CAN SLEEP FLAT! I never really had problems with bowel movements, but I do think that is easier also. I’ve read that too little stomach acid can also affect nutrient absorption so I’m hoping my nutrition is improving also. I will say that when I have alcohol it seems to slow down my digestion so I take a 2nd one at the end of the meal. Also if I’m at a restaurant or eating in a way that extends the meal a long time I also need another one at the end of the meal otherwise some of the old symptoms start to creep in. I’ve given it to other extended family members that also deal with acid reflux and they have had great results also. I really couldn’t be happier with this change in my life and am so thankful I found it!!

I have certain food sensitivities, but when I take this with my meal, I can handle those food items I'm sensitive to with ease. I would give it five stars, except I do think it's overpriced, and it does occasionally give me some really bad heartburn. But, I do think the brand is very good and am willing to pay for their known quality.

Good product but it’s contraindicated if you routinely take aspirin

I have really bad acid reflux (GERD) and for the longest time, I was getting trapped air (gas bubbles) in my chest which would leave me in terrible panic attacks. Everything I eat gives me acid reflux. I tried everything. Zantac, Prilosec, gas X, galvascon. Anti-acids like Zantac & Prilosec only made the acid reflux worse! The gas-X/galvascon combo helped but only for AFTER the fact that I had horrible acid shooting up my throat & sometimes nose. My chiropractor/nutritionist recommended this. I take 2 before a normal meal and 3 before a heavily acidic meal. Caffeine also gives me acid reflux, so I take one before I drink my morning chai latte. It may suck having to take medication EVERY time you eat, BUT not having acid burn your throat is so worth it. One bottle usually lasts me about a month. I highly HIGHLY recommend this for those who suffer from acid reflux. I hope this particular brand never goes out of stock because it's the best I've ever tried due to its high mg.

seems to be a good product. Has more HCL per capsule compared to other brands. My naturopath recommended this brand and said I should take just one capsule of 750mg. Other brands I used to take 3 or 4.
