Good reference tool
While this book is short of ripped bodices, fast cars, and mysterious strangers, it's worth the trade-off in excitement to use as a reference for finding free reading material via Kindle. Some of the recommendations I knew about, like Kindle's Lending Library option. The majority were new to me, including free software that allows you to convert non-Kindle-friendly books to Kindle format. The book includes several illustrations, which makes it doubly useful. Author Steve Weber covers a lot of territory, and the included images show exactly why it's true that a picture can truly be worth a thousand words, if it's the right kind of picture.Weber provides specific programs and websites, and includes how-to specifics with each reading source. Bonus points because he's all about doing things the legal way, which sadly isn't the case for all writers. This is a worthwhile reference book, which means you can't skim through it once and remember all the details. There's a lot of information packed into this short narrative, enough I foresee installing programs then coming back again to review how to use them. Trust me, this is a good thing.I should point out that Kindle Buffet assumes you're working with either a Kindle Fire, a PC/Mac, or a tablet. A lot of the programs won't be an option for one of the old black and white Kindle editions. If you're dealing with anything more recent and/or robust, though, I'd definitely recommend this to people like me who get their kicks from reading.I received this book at no cost in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

Lots of Free Books
This book is divided into two sections: Regular Kindle E-Readers and Kindle Fires. As I do not have Kindle Fire this section is not as relevant to me, but if you have a Kindle Fire you should get this book to know how to access "Calibre"I have a Kindle Touch. This book is a great help in finding new authors and free books. The Kindle Buffet web site, which is described in this book is a great source of free daily books that are offered by Amazon. You can find free books that are only offered on a limited bases for a very short time. New books are added daily. Mr.Weber, the author, weeds through all the free items offered and culls out the garbage. I load up 7 free books on my first visit to KindleBuffet.com.There are also listings for many other sites where free books are offered. I tend to stay with Amazon Kindle Store offerings because Amazon purchases can be placed in Amazon Cloud Storage for free. But check out the many other free book sites. You can also use your Kindle as a Personal Documents Service, linking your Kindle to a personal e-mail address. This process is described in detail in the book. You will also learn how to borrow e-books from your local library and how to lend books to friends who also have Kindles. This as a very good resource to have if you love reading and you love free stuff. *and by the way, "Kindle Buffet" is a FREE download from the Kindle store or you can access at KindleBuffet.com.

Old Information... but Still Great
There isn't too much to say about this particular book. It was informative in its own regard, but most of the information I already knew. It helps people realize what they need to do in order to find some of the best books for free on the Kindle Store. Personally, I go by the 100-year rule. If you know the book has been available for at least 100 years there is a significant chance it is available for free.**Review Disclosure**I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I do, however, want to mention that I understand that reviews need to be trustworthy, and the fact that this review was prompted by a third-party can make it a little shady. I want to give you every assurance that I uphold every bit of integrity when reviewing these products, and I give each product my honest opinion. My reviews do reflect the entire 1 to 5 star scale, and I write them to help people decide if this product is indeed worth their money. Great tips for saving money on quality reads
Kindle Buffet: Find and download the best free books, magazines and newspapers for your Kindle, iPhone, iPad or AndroidI already knew about the free section of Kindle books in the Kindle store when I downloaded this book. What I didn't know was how to distinguish between the ones I might actually enjoy reading and the others. This book gives links to the author's website that gives top picks based on reviews so you are more likely to actually download a good book. Trust me, there is some really awful literature out there and I usually find this out about fifteen minutes after my plane has taken off or the car has started moving and then I am either stuck reading nothing or reading something terrible. Its really nice to have a resource to up my chances of liking the book I am downloading. I use my iPhone's Kindle App, but this book also goes in to the many benefits that are available on Kindle readers only such as a library where you can actually download books for free and return them just like at a physical public library. I may actually look into getting a Fire just for that alone!! This book also goes into the benefits of Amazon Prime for those who have an actual Kindle reader. I have Prime, but had no idea that there were book benefits, too, if I purchase a reader. I have always just used it for movies, TV and the free shipping. I read a lot and this book has definitely opened my eyes to some options for me to try new authors and genres without putting out money for something I may not even like. And I read fast so the expense of eBooks adds up to sizable bill for me each month. If you like reading, I highly recommend you check this out.Although I received this product for a discount, this is an unbiased and honest review and I can assure you that in no way affected my rating of this item.
