Item Package Quantity:2 Your 30' tape is no good for strapping the BHA! This amazing tape measure has 33 feet because modern mud motors are longer than 30 feet. This tape has decimal feet to avoid making mistakes with the strapping sheets. Most rigsite software wants decimals not fractions anyway. Who wants to record strapping measurements with fractions of inches? It also has inches too in case decimals are challenging - just kidding! Tape is a reflective material with high visibility and easy to clean with a cloth.

A little dishonest
This is a komelon tape with an "American Driller" sticker on the front. The komelon is written on the blade and the patent number is the same. Don't get me wrong, it's a good tape but they're basically charging an extra 10$ for the sticker on the front.

Great tape. However, 45’ would be more practical for a DD as some motors and other BHA items are too long for the tape. Also consider a much stronger return spring.

Measures Up.
Quite precise. Fiberglass is solid and does not deflect. Good build quality. Plastic body has held up well.

Good tape
Solid tape. Only thing I don’t like is the inches measurement on the top of the tape and feet on the top. Otherwise, it’s perfect for me. Haven’t had any issues with the spring yet, locks well, and the tip has no wiggle. Good product overall.

Great Sticker....
It’s a sticker over a Komelon tape but the tape is a great one to use. Keep the dirt, water, and dope out of it and it’ll last.
