Perfect size for Game Boy Camera
I bought this to use with my Game Boy Camera for trichrome photography. It's small enough that it can be installed with the right pair of tweezers – which I didn't have. I recommend a pair of angled tweezers meant for electronics.

Corrects colors on M12 lenses
I have a webcam monitoring my 3D printer; I replaced the lens on it with a wider angle but the new lens did not have an integrated IR cut filter. This results in some strange colors, mainly a pinkish cast. I added one of these filters to the back of the lens, glues in place with a couple small drops of CA, and the colors now appear normal.They are somewhat expensive, but will correct these color issues for normal uses (assuming you're not doing vegetation analysis)
