This is the best commentary Bible book you could ever buy Tony Evan writes like poetry where you can understand it as a child I would recommend this for young teenagers to start using this instead of no Bible for the fact it leads like a story so you can understand the word of God breaks it down to a whole none of me instead of them getting bored because they lack understanding brings understanding to the Forefront absolutely love it and bought over 20 of them for family

This is so amazing! More than what I expected. God bless Tony Evans. I love how literal and practical this commentary is. This is probably the best one I have read so far. I’m so thankful for biblical resources, as this. It’s truly impactful for the Kingdom, and to understand the Bible in a refreshing way. Very grateful!

I have both the kindle and hardcover versions of the Tony Evans Bible Commentary. The commentary is detailed and easy to read and understand. This is a great companion to your Bible study routine to help break down scripture into bite size chunks. I just finished the Book of Job and it was very helpful to understand how suffering fits into God's kingdom and what God expects from us in the midst of suffering. I also have and recommend the Tony Evans Study Bible. I have the Kindle and hardcover versions of it as well.

If you are looking for a Holy Spirit inspired commentary on the entire bible, easy to understand, yet deep, and relevant to today, this is it. Would be great for a new Christian or even one who is well learned (I've gone to bible school and I learned a lot from his commentary.) Tony Evans is the pastor of a huge church in Oak Cliff Texas, look him up on line. If he were local, that would be my new church! I have read other translations, commentaries that seem to either talk over your head or water things down. That is not at all what he does, he make it come alive and relevant to your own life. I liked it so much I bought another one for my adult son and will likely buy a few more for other family members.
