Simple, but sturdy and doesn't rock around. This is hard to find because the Rav4 vents are vertical, so most holsters are incompatible.

I own a Rav4 2018.The family and I agreed that adding a navigation system to the car was unnecessary and redundant since we have smartphones.We then embarked on a multiple years-long odyssey of trying to find a dashboard mount that worked on the gently curving dashboard of our car.The sticky ones didn’t work, the magnet ones couldn’t adhere to the curve, and the one stuck on the windshield was too distracting.Then I ordered the BeHave Universal Car Phone Holder.PERFECT.One doesn’t need to remove the dashboard bar piece to install the holder. I slid the holder above the dashboard element, applied some pressure, and it snapped into place.It has been in service for four months with no signs of wear.I am happy with its performance.

I’ll never need another phone mount for my car again. I was pleasantly surprised to find this phone mount was designed for my make and model car. I never have any problems with it falling off and the location on my dash is ideal.

Essentially had to figure out how to install this on my own. The included documentation is worthless. It's translated from Chinese into English and doesn't even make sense when you read it. Grammatical errors in sentences, etc. There's a QR code included that's supposed to take you to a web page (I'm assuming) that's supposed to walk you thru how to install for your particular make and model of car. Of course, the QR code doesn't even work.UPDATE on 4/20/2020:the other day I drove over a bump in the street while my phone was attached the magnet. The weight of the phone broke the plastic base holding the mount and the whole thing fell to the floor. Now all it's good for is the trash unfortunately. I'm disappointed the base was made out of such flimsy plastic that it broke.

This is a good little phone holder. I was worried about the quality because the arms feel a little flimsy, but once the phone is slid in place they're very secure. Initially I planned on putting a magnet on it for more security but that hasn't been necessary. The holder and the phone stay put, and my phone hasn't gone flying on a hard turn or bumpy road once, as with most others I've used in the past in a different car. I found it a little tricky to use the mini crow bar it comes with simply because I over-worry about scratching things, but once I found the sweet spot it was super easy to install. This is the only holder I've found that fits in this vehicle and sits in a high enough spot that you can glance at it when need be and not have to take your eyes totally off the road. Overall I like this product and should it get worn out, like most of these small plastic products eventually do, I'll definitely get another. The only thing I really dislike is that it won't fit if I have a pop socket or ring on my phone case, but that's not a big deal, I just position them higher up so the phone can sit flat.

I've gone through about half a dozen phone holders in the last few years. This one is the best I've found. I loved my original one until I broke it due to my own clumsiness. The new one has performed flawlessly. The designers did a great job of making it fit perfect to the trim of the dash.

Loved this product when it was purchased, as I the installation was easy and was exactly what I was looking for. I had an iPhone 6 with and Otterbox Defender case. However, I now have a new iPhone XR and new Otterbox Defender case and the magnet isn't strong enough to hold this setup. I didn't think it would be a problem since the product description states the iPhone XR, but it's a problem.Product is well made and does what it's supposed to do as long as you don't have a heavy phone case. I had a cheaper case on this until the Defender showed up and it worked OK. But as soon as I put my preferred case on the phone, it was no longer able to stay attached to the magnet.Trying to find something now that will work with this mount as I love the mount and how it attaches to the car.

I have tried a lot of different phone holders but we the type of vents I have in my car (Rav 4) no holder every fit right. I bought it for a road trip and didn’t want to keep looking down in the cup holder 😂😂Although we did fight a little at first because it didn’t want to snap into place but gave it a little nudge and it snapped right into placeHolds my phone perfectly although I do have to take my phone out of its case because I have a pop socket but that doesn’t bother me. Highly recommend!
