These shelf supports are sturdy and a unique touch to our living space. We sprayed ours copper to stand out against the navy wall and black shelves and are really happy with the finish. Because the tubes are threaded you can also adjust them once installed to striaghten them if you bodge it slightly... provided you havent tighened it right up to the last thread!The only advice I would give is not to use the plugs provided because they didnt secure to the wall properly as other people have stated, but the product itself is great hence 5*.

I’ve used these in the kitchen for scaffold shelving and have just made my first living room shelf to carry on the theme.So impressed with these, easy to use and very sturdy.Be sure to have screws with a big enough head ready to use as smaller screws will fall through the holes.

It’s strong and does the job. But one of them got caught and it was impossible to compress it until the end. Because of that my shelf is swinging. And there are three holes to installation. But one of them is behind the black iron and it makes the installation difficult. But not impossible.

Really impressed with these! We have Sapele wooden worktops and had some offcuts left over which we decided to make in to shelves. My husband and I were sceptical these were up to the job but they have been up for a few months now with cookbooks on and have held up nicely!

I bought these because I needed something strong and sturdy for a book shelf. The piece of wood is heavy and books will be added.These brackets are incredibly sturdy. They are also easy to fit because you can dismantle them to make your marks and screw in with ease.Will be buying again for a second shelf.
