Love it !
I am so pleased with this book, it is beautifully presented on lovely shiny paper with nostalgic vintage advertising pictures. The recipes are good straight forward and very easy, the pastry recipe on page 144 is fabulous, easy to roll out with no chilling or cracking, I can't fault this book. Some reviewers have noted that there are a lot of vegan and gluten free recipes , but that is easily remedied with a little tweaking. There are lots of useful trouble shooting pages with hints and tips for if things go wrong. I buy lots of baking books but this by far is the best as it combines old and new recipes. I have always used Stork for cakes and sponges but have very rarely used the blocks, but I shall use it now for pastry the results it yields are just great.

Brings back memories
It contains some good recipes and are easy to follow. Before I purchased it I did read there were a lot of old adverts. I personally found them nostalgic, that's my age lol. It's a good hard backed book. For each recipe there's and ad opposite. It's up to you if like myself you like to cook with stork whether you buy this book.

It’s a down to earth very good cookery book.
This is a replacement for one that I bought in 1977. Not quite the same but still very good!!!

What a great book you can never go wrong with any recipes from a stork book it got me thinking of my mum in the 50s and 60s she always used stork recipes she left me tiny books from stork an I have passed them on to my daughter

Cookbook
I was slightly disappointed with the content, fewer recipes than I expected and a lot of those were for vegans, which I am NOT. I think it should have been noted so buyers could make the choice. However the recipes, that were not vegan, were nice, the photos in the book were good, but I do not think it was particularly good value. Shame really I had a stork book years ago and it was great, it fell to pieces through use,
