EK Tools Circle Paper Punch, 2.5-Inch, New Package , White

This wasn’t very sharp, I can only assume that’s what was wrong because I was trying to make confetti using tissue paper and it kept getting stuck 😒 it was very frustrating and for what I paid for it I was not impressed. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but even when I used 1 layer of tissue paper it would get stuck. Not worth the money or frustration 🙅🏼‍♀️Edit: it works amazing on construction paper but for some reason not on tissue paper 🤷🏼‍♀️Again, I’m making confetti to put in balloons and that is why I wanted to use tissue paper. I’m changing my rating from 1 Star to 5 because I had no issues whatsoever using it on the construction paper. Can someone tell me why it doesn’t work on tissue paper?

This round hole punch is just what I need to get my jobs done with speed and perfection. Makes the circle neat, you can use cardstock and watercolor paper. It is comfortable to hold, it has a lock to keep it closed once it is not used. I tried others but I did not like them because they caught the paper or the circle came out with some imperfection. It is very robust and of great quality. Very satisfied with the product, it deserves the 5 stars

Tried punching a few holes. Each time, one area tore. Ordered a replacement. The punch got stuck & wouldn't retract. There was nothing jammed. Was unable to shut it & lock it. So sent an email to EK Tools believing they were the seller. Got a response I never expected & guess what? EK Tools stands behind their products & sent me a third punch- after they tested it. Would I buy another punch? Hopefully not- but wouldn't hesitate to order another.

These refill sheets are a fantastic way to extend the fun of our original Shrinky Dinks kit. The plastic shrinks evenly and the designs stay vibrant. We’ve used them to make charms, keychains, and magnets. The possibilities are endless with just markers and imagination. A great value that keeps the creativity flowing.

It worked really well for regular paper but I wanted it for dissolvable paper to which is was only ok. Most of the time one side would not cut all the way through and would mess of the shape of the circle. I am guessing that it just needs studier paper to work correctly.

EK makes excellent quality punches, and this is no exception. It cuts through light weight card stock easily, which is what I use my punches for. Buyer beware, however - this is advertised as the 2.5" punch, but I received the 2" punch and didn't realize until it was too late to return.

The best of it's kind, and terrible.I make 2" buttons professionally and must have a precision hole puncher in my assembly line. Over the years I have tried every brand available, and found them all wanting. EK Tools seems to make the best, but 50% of the time the product fails on the first punch and has to be replaced. The rest begin to fail within about a dozen punches. They start out with a nice crimp cut, but before long the alignment of the die head gets wobbly, the cut edge gets mushy, the paper tears, and hole punch jams. At this point the cuts are no longer a complete circle and almost every punch has to be cleaned up with scissors anyway. And that's the best scenario. Because the die is misaligned, sometimes it jams so hard the cutting edge is damaged too much to function.I've dismantled this product and discovered the primary problem is that the two metal pieces, the hole and the punch, are only connected by springs inside. They do not move along a fixed track. That means that the punch is only as accurate as the wiggle of the plastic encasing.I would not recommend this product to anyone. Unfortunately it's the best you're going to find.

This product was purchased for card making. It arrived well packaged and in its own clear plastic case. The quality of the circle punch is excellent, and it works easily, neatly cutting through 65lb. cardstock. It is exactly the same as a higher priced item that was available from a card making company, from which I purchase supplies. I plan to purchase additional size punches from this company in the future.
