Beautiful flatware set, wowed the guests. Only wish was that the top section of the case would hold open to retrieve flatware...better hindge. Lastly, hand wash only...I have had no issues, however, with any gold, silver or copper plating, machine washing tends to be abrasive and can remove plating. I work with plated metals on a daily bases, just a recommendation.

As with most items, the pictures do not do justice to the actual product! All I can say is bring on the special occasion dining events! This flatware is elegant and perfectly complements my china. Beautiful flatware!!

Bought this for my daughter and wow did she love them. She did a dance and I got the biggest hug ever. Beautiful mahogany 2 tiered box with shiny sturdy silverware that was fit for a king and queen. This is something she will hand down for generations.

The set itself is very good. Only one small issue was the box is slightly damaged. That could have been from the factory, but i suspect happened during transport. Overall a very good product.

Perhaps part of the problem was that it was shipped via usps. The package was torn open and damaged badly but the product itself is very flawed. Almost every piece has discoloration spots and little chips not to mention one piece was actually cracked. The Box itself was broken due to being made with very cheap material, and the two hinges that lock the front of the chest were literally broken off. Some pieces were missing. Not sure if all this was caused by the post office certainly the defective flatware was a manufacturing problem.

A gift. Recipient loved the set. It was well packed, solid holder. Flatware sturdy, shiny. Not a fault with any aspect of this set. Makez a great gift.
