Great. Exactly as it is described and the same on I used in my classroom as a teacher. Great visual for recapping sounds.

A lot bigger than I was expecting, but I am useless with measurements. It is on the wall and is very helpful for my 6 year old who is struggling with applying school driven phonics based learning with complex English spellings that are not phonetic. If your child is also struggling (as teaching methods certainly have changed from when I was in school - we used to just get sheets of spelling to memorise and get tested and then write out incorrect spellings 10 times) then this is a must.

I purchased this as a visual aid in learning phonics for my son who was in year 1 at he time. This has proved to be a very helpful aid indeed. I put it up in his room and we referenced to it every day. Having everything there on the wall meant that he could use it without me there.He is now a very confident and advanced reader in year 3 - way ahead of his classmates and I don't think he would have progressed so quickly without it.Recommend it wholeheartedly.

Great resource for teaching sound recognition for reading and writing, especially in preparation for the phonics screening check. This Read Write inc resource is invaluable in teaching pupils to recognise speed sounds easily. Even if you do not follow the programme as a whole school, it is altos a good way to consolidate and ensure you have covered all the different sounds up to phase five in letters and sounds.

This is the simple sound chart not the complex as discussed in previous reviews.

Exactly as used at schools following the “read, write inc” phonics scheme. Very big, so easy for children to use and spot the sounds.

It's a good size and the paper is thicker than normal so not as other reviews suggest. You couldn't reproduce it from paper you typically have at home.The big problem for me is that it's been folded when it should have been rolled.I would have attempted to laminate it myself but after folding it is pointless to try but having been able to write over the top of it after possibly customising it would have greatly increased the value of the poster to suiting my needs.
