Great Kettle
I have often wondered how they can get a man on the moon - but cannot make a decent kettle! Why is it so difficult to find a good one? Well, at last I think this is one I can recommend. When I (too often) have to search for kettles, I first look at the beautiful ones - but the reviews deter me from buying. This one seemed practical & good looking - and had decent reviews. I usually go for kettles with a button to open the lid as I have arthritis in my right hand. This one doesn't have one - but you can actually fill it via the spout - and it is very lightweight, comfortable to hold and easy to pour. It is an attractive cream colour, fast to boil, and very quiet. I hadn't realised how slow and noisy my old one was. The water gauge is a little difficult to read on the outside - but clearer if you view from the inside. The only slight con at first was the base. The cord doesn't fit that well wound round the base as it is very thick. This causes it to rise slightly on one side and can make the boil a bit bumpy. But I realised if I secured it with blue tack it will lay flat.

Best for a long time.
It looks good and works well. I live in an hard water area and this kettle can handle it well. I haven't had to descale as often as cheaper kettles or replace it as yet. Well made and robust. Pours well and no dripping. It has 3 little tabs inside so you can see if it has enough water to make 1,2,or 3 cups of drink. It also has a soft blue light at the tip of the switch to see if it's on or not. The lid fits well and clicks back into place with ease. It has a lime scale filter that fits flush with the sides. It's a bit noisy when boiling because of it being on a countertop with space underneath but it's not on long enough to fret over. Great purchase it's very sturdy and will last.

Great kettle
Pours well without spilling everywhere. Has clear panel to show water level. Boils quickly and has a light in the on switch. Automatic shut off when boils. Easy opening lid for filling. The circular handle on top of lid does not get hot. Filter in pourer. Cord length is good. Looks nice too. I got a matching toaster too. Very pleased with this kettle.

great value, very efficient , Quiet and looks much more expensive
Excellent generally and key positive (unlike the ridiculous morphy richards we had previously) the kettle locates every time on the base with ease to save dangling around at arms length trying to sit on the base to make electrical contact.... you would think it a fundamental of design but hey ho - this new ones great so easy. Also registered for extra year gurantee is good (why dont manufacturers get that we the consumer want to see that they have some faith in thier product and offer reasonable guarantees anyway!) Seems to have worked for Hyundai? Was slightly suspicious of 'plastic' body as some feedback for certain units (other manufacturers) is less than complimentary re taste... I have to say no discernable issues with this - filled and boiled and rinsed repeatedly before first 'drink' use. No issue and believe me if anyone had inpacted on my beloved tea there would be an issue!!Also very pleased the lead is white and not the obtrusive 'stand out' black of most previous options and kitchen elecrical goods.Only minor gripe is the base could be a little wider to accomodate more than one wind of flex - its stable so thats not the issue but our worksurface and socket dont require much flex length and it only has option to wind the (quite generous) flex round once and only one 'outlet' cut out under the base - its not a deal breaker but just means we have a small but uneccessary section of albeit white flex 'on show' wheras i'd ideally like to have wound more round (like the previous morphy richards allowed ironically) a larger base would also make the kettle even more stable (so not a bad thing with boiling water eh?) so come on Russell Hobbs - pull your socks up and do what all good chinese companies do... copy best practice! All in all an excellent item and looks as if it should cost far more. Aesthetics and finish are premium standard.

Incredibly impressive
This is the best kettle out of 4 that I have had so far and the cheapest!!Everything about it is great: unique design, cream colour, easily removed lid and limescale filter, blue illumination when turned on, light weighed, quiet and rapid boiling. For £32 it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

Love it
Arrived very promptly- did one boil initially to remove any residue - absolutely no plastic taste to water as reported by other reviews. Really stylish appliance and well made Fast boiling, easy lid removal to fill up, no leakage although noted from instructions some condensation normal. Did notice water level under handle not quite in easiest place to read but does the job and you have neat little markers to show you inside one two and 3 cups worth. Super pleased with it and looks great in my kitchen. Will take advice to have it empty whilst not in use to prevent lime scale as live in hard water area. Registered product and got extra year warranty (3 years) for free. I thought it read it came with a descaler but this wasn’t with mine - will use lemon and vinegar every so often. Thank you 😁

Great kettle
I had a very expensive kettle a well known brand, costing nearly £200 it broke after two years, the matching toaster had cost £60 for a repair after two years also!I was not prepared to pay for another expensive repair, so I bought this cheap kettle to use until I got a ‘good’ one, well I’m still using it months later, it’s great, it boils water, looks good ( probably not as good as my designer one) to be honest, but I’m not wasting money on another expensive icon.

Very nice kettle!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I gave this kettle 5 stars for the fact it is much quieter than my old one, it heats quickly and is lovely to look at. And kinda matches the tea canisters that I also got from Amazon so that’s a bonus. It is a nice light cream colour and not like a yellow cream. It has a good length cord and a UK plug. It’s one of them that you only boil what you need to. It seems to have a safe sturdy lid with a little filter on the spout and the water pours nicely. I am delighted with my purchase and would definitely recommend.
