As a result of my treatment for breast cancer, I have had terrible hot flashes for the past few years. My husband bought this for me, and it's been fantastic. I keep it at my desk, plugged into my computer. I also use it in the car, so I don't freeze out everyone else. And with a portable USB battery (sold separately), I can wear it while exercising. It's comfortable to wear. There's a fan, but it's quiet - only the wearer can hear it. I haven't used the heat setting much because I live in a warm climate, but I'm sure it works just as well.

This wonderful device worked better than I expected. Within 30 seconds of putting it on I feel significantly colder. It's worth every penny.I'm always hot and have to work in a hot office where I get migraines from the heat. It's a life saver!!! I can walk around the house with it and leave the thermostat warmer than I normally would to save energy. I can see a future where everyone has these kinds of devices and personalizes their temperature rather than spending enormous amounts of energy cooling large rooms.This product could be improved a lot if they put a third cooling plate on the back.Pay attention to what size device you need. My neck is on the small side and the larger one wasn't quite as snug a fit as I would have liked, so I'm replacing it with the smaller version.

The idea here is great. And the plates do get ice cold when turned on and sitting on a table. But the moment you put it on, your body warms the plates and that’s it. We returned this, the battery pack, and long usb cords the very first day.

I was very skeptical about this product. After looking for many other options I went ahead and bought this item.This thing really does work. I live in Florida and it’s hot down here. The cooling works well. The only thing I don’t like it’s that it feels a bit heavy after a while. But really not bad at all. I got a good battery and it last a while.Now, don’t expect to cool your whole body. It’s meant to reduce the heat in the neck area. It has two fans that blow air through the metal plates that then either cook or warm you.I recommend this product. It really does work.

It's as cool as an ice pack against my jugular, all day long. Take it off and my neck is chilled to the touch. I work in a hot warehouse all day, routinely 90-100f indoors. I can't believe this product exists without the use of a coolant. Heat sink tech is advancing.

This really cooled down very quickly, holding the chill for quite some time.This unit was used for a medical condition, providing immediate cooling to prevent a body organ shut-down.

I'll try to keep it simple:This is basically 2 peltier cooling plates, one on each side of the neck. the simple version of how this works is that in order for the plates to get cold, little fans facing away from the device blow warmth away. But when it gets really hot outside, it's hard to blow the heat away and so the cool side doesn't get as cool. This isn't new technology, and you can find vintage units from SharperImage with a big battery pack on the internet (not to be confused with water cooled evaporative models that dont work in high humidity). Again, this is old tech.-when the outside temp hit's about 95f, you can tell the cooling plates aren't nearly as cold as they were when it was 80, or indoors. The colder the air around you, the colder this device gets. The hotter the air, the less effective the cooling. After about 100f the device's cooling ability is SEVERELY impaired. (when you want it to work the most-It will consume about 10,000mha battery pack in 7 hours (in standard, not turbo, mode). Buy a usb battery pack accordingly. ANKUR PowerCore 1000 is a pretty good pocket size option.-It's heavy, but the adjustable back neck piece will keep it from flopping around. That same neck piece is rubber (insulator) and will make you feel hot bu trapping heat on the back of your neck. It really needs a third cooling plate there, but would require a re-engineer and 50% more battery use.-the cooler plates will attract condensation like a cold drink would. so if a wet neck bother's you, this will bother you.-It's overpriced for old technology and no battery included. Ideally at $100 (including battery) this would be priced ok. $75 would be better.-Build quality seems good and it doesn't feel cheap. Feels delicate, but that could just be my perception.-It's quiet, but not silent. there is a small fan by each ear, so it does create some white noise that could be a problem for some.Summary, works great indoors, works less well under extreme heat when you need the most. Overpriced, but built well. Makes your neck wet. Worth the current $150 price....? maybe.

使っていてこんなものかと思っていたが いざバッテリーが切れて思い知らされる効果にびっくりでした。ただUSBケーブルが丈夫そうにみえて3日で断線。早っ。まあ夏の冷房も期待しています。欲をいえばバッテリー消費が少ないといいんですが...

付属のケーブルが使用初日に断線したので、強そうなケーブルを新たに購入して使ってみたけど、やっぱり1日で断線した。何故？
