Darth Vader™ and Son: 30 Postcards (Illustrated Star Wars Greeting Cards for Father and Son, Gift for Star Wars Dad)

Lol these are so funny. I needed a postcard for a star wars fan and these are definitely a huge hit

I have both Darth Vader and Son & Vader's Little Princess books and they are such a delight! I love Jeffrey Brown's style, humor and his ability to show Darth Vader's soft side. Anyway, since I didn't want to tear some of the pages from the actual book, the postcards are a great alternative to frame and display. It's also fun to send to people whether they have kids or not, especially if they like the original Star Wars Trilogy. And by the way, I met Mr. Brown at 2013 SDCC, and he's such a super nice guy! Not only he signed my books, but also drew on them!

I got these for my son at Summer Camp - and they were hysterical. Everyone who's gotten one loved it. (He turned from 9 to 10 years old at camp). He knew which cards to send to which people, and it's been a riot. I will look up for next summer the other postcard books. It encouraged him to write, and made us all look forward to his cards even more.

The pictures on these postcards are charming and funny for children and adults alive. The pictures show everyday domestic interactions between a loving parent (Darth Vader) and his spirited, strong-willed, sometimes rebellious child (Luke Skywalker). Darth Vader looks like Darth Vader, while Luke is rendered as a child. The humor lies in seeing big, bad, Vader give Luke piggy back rides, read bedtime stories, field awkward questions, etc. These are sturdy, oversized postcards (will require extra postage) with high-quality printing and a coated matte finish on the front. I highly recommend!

Sooo disappointed! These are cute as anything, and we bought them to write to my stepson/their brother/their son after a custody change (painful). Ex-wife got a bill from USPS for $.60 postage due because THEY ARE OVERSIZE (!? looks fine to me, but whatever). So I'll let you figure out how *that* scenerio went. :/Bummer! I won't be mailing him the rest of these, and I want to... He'll have to get less-awesome postcards that mail for the correct postcard rate.

Such a creative postcard book! The postcards are produced with good materials! I mailed them out to a bunch of friends who are Star Wars fans and they love it!

My husband and I got the Vader and Son and Vader's Little Princess postcards to send to each other each week while he's deployed. The designs are cute and they hold up really well through the mail.

Expensive for what it is, but its a good gift book, printed on "post cards" essentially to give the impression theres more content (pages are made of card so thicker), i suppose you could tear the pages out? But honestly, its just so it looks like theres more in there.Not a bad review, the product is excellent quality, and clearly a "gift" gift.Rarely elicit anything more than a "heh" but still, not buying it to fill a hole in your soul so much as a hole in a stocking.
