Great cupholder for wide doors
I had been searching for a cupholder that would fit our thick doors in our Ford 150 pickup and also a Ford Econoline Van. This does the trick. I love them. I have not tried to put a big gulp in but it has held my large refill coffee mug with no problem. Also a Venti coffee cup works great! I am buying 3 more today. You do have to be careful not to put the window down completely or it will fall off the window when you roll it back up if you don't remember to hold it in place. That's the only downside but I love them!

Works for my purpose.

For the price these little one-size fits all have been a useful add-on to my poorly designed vehicle
The installation mechanism is the hard thin piece of plastic meant to slide into the window jam. However, it also proved equally effective in sliding it between the dash board panels or side of the seat so they proved very versatile. For the price these little one-size fits all have been a useful add-on to my poorly designed vehicle.

Do not waste your money
This is a worthless purchase. It does not fit in my car windows. I own a Chevrolet, Toyota, Ford, and Jeep. It fits in none of these. It is poorly constructed. Do not waste your money.

Really liked it
I originally found this item at a parts supply store and they only have one, so I found this one on Amazon (of course, my go too place) !I read other reviews and found that it is hard to place down into the window but if you can pull away the piece next to the glass it fits great. I put anything from small to large cups in it. Had my husband turn corners and all of them stayed in place. Some better than others. Would recommend if you can get it to sit into place correctly

Does not fit in a 1990 BMW 535i (E34)
Hook did not fit at all in my car. felt sorta cheap. Might work for others but the hook appears too think for most modern windows.

Not what I was looking for exactly
I can see how this cup holder would be useful in some applications and for some people, but it just didn't do the job for me. Here's the pros and cons:PROS:*Nice size - holds even the largest cup*Appears pretty well-made - not extremely cheesy like something from Wally-World*Stays put once secured in the door*Hanger is versatile - it could conceivably be hung off of some type of hook, or even the back of an airline seat.CONS:*If you have a particularly heavy cup and/or beverage, the "arms" will spread and maybe even let the drink fall out. This is particularly true of large/tall cups (think "Big Gulps")*Conversely, not good for smaller bottles of water - they just slip out between the "arms"*Distance from the top of the car door to the drink holder is dependent upon how thick your inner door panel is. If it is pretty thick (3-4") then the drink will be up really high. If it's thin, it will hang pretty low and might interfere with your door handle.*Plastic part of the hanging strap split and eventually broke altogether. I chalk this up to being exposed to the high temperatures of a closed car during the summertime (120+ degrees) but still - it's designed to go in a car!Overall, I'd say it could be fairly useful in some situations but for me didn't seem quite worth what they're asking for it. YMMV.

Works for our 20oz coffees.
Easy to install, Large enough for our 20 oz. coffees with room to spare. Could hold a much larger drink. Good purchase at a fair price.
