That sound is back
That sound is back, you know what I'm talking about. That sound that just pulls the notes right out of your soul. Great set of tubes. Checked them on my tube tester before installation and biasing and they tested as expected.

The sound is amazing
Refurbished my 95 blues junior with these bad boys. They sound better than a new amp. Highly recommended.

Great Tubes
Service was fast and excellent. I was able to change out the old tubes with the new in a few minutes and they worked perfectly.

Killed the rattle snake.
I bought a stage right/monoprice 15W tube amp. It's a good budget tube amp, but it had this annoying issue with rattling when I picked a sustained note with some OD. It literally sounded like a PO'd rattlesnake. I thought it might be a mechanical issue (tube clips, reverb tank), but that was not it. It ended up being the cheap, unbranded Chinese tubes used. These tube fixed that and the sound is clearer and more pronounced.Best investment I made for upgrading this budget amp.

Fixed problem, but not really "better" than OEM
I put these tubes in my Bassbreaker 007 (two 12AX7 preamp tubes and one EL84 power tube) because the power tube was overheating, glowing purple, and making awful crackling sounds. The amp had Groove Tubes in it, from the factory. These are JJs, and the preamp tubes are 5883s, not 12AX7s. I don't know if they are "functionally equivalent", but the amp seems a little "flatter", now, with less sparkle, and less thump, and perhaps a little less overall volume. I only needed the power tube, so I may put the original preamp tubes back in and see if that makes any difference. I bought this set so I'd have backup tubes, just in case, so I'm glad that this option is available. Overall, I'm happy to have the amp back in working order, and I can adjust the EQ to compensate for any perceived difference. It could just be that I'm being overly picky about the sound, or it could be that the failing power tube put out more volume and a better range of tones. Hard to say. Good product, good value. No complaints.
