This fits the 8 cup Krups Moka Brew coffee maker beautifully. After well over a decade of daily (at least) use of my Moka Brew, the material in the "basket" at the top of the carafe began to erode and crumble a bit. It still worked, but was hard to clean, and looked bad. I wanted to replace just the basket but extensive searches proved fruitless, and I finally caved and got a whole new carafe. I don't regret it. Now if one ever breaks (fingers crossed no) I'll have a back up. The new carafe has made cofee making in the morning more pleasant.I considered springing for a new 10 cup version, but I don't need a larger coffee pot. The only unpleasant thing about this pot is that the original filters made by Krups are no longer made since they came out with the 10 cup version, which has a permanent washable filter, so I am forced to substitute Melitta percolator filters, which work well enough if I use two of them, but I really wish I could still get the proper ones.

I had a basket filter with a wire mesh that did not need a filter on my old carafe. The new one has a solid plastic bottom with small holes drilled in it. Used with the small round paper filters that are made for a percolator, then tamped, the coffee brews slow enough to be nice and strong. Makes me like my coffee maker better than ever! I recommend, even if you haven't broken your old one.

This is the right part for my Krups Moka pot (which is sadly out of production). The price seems high when I paid only ~$75 for the whole unit ~2004, but it makes great coffee and so I was glad to find his part. Excellent delivery by the vendor.

The Krups Moka Brew is my favorite coffee maker, but it's been out of production for years. Mine is the original French made F468 model, not the newer Chinese one. I still have the original carafe, but it's so fragile, breaking it without a back up is a huge fear and replacements are nearly impossible to find. My misgivings about ordering this carafe were that it might arrive shattered or would be a shabby pre-owned one. I was relieved to receive an undamaged, factory fresh carafe that is an exact duplicate of the original and it will be carefully stored away, just in case the old one meets an untimely end.BTW, the disk filters are also impossible to find, but using a pair of scissors and the original filters as a template, regular filters can be altered for use in the Krups Moka Brew F468.

Hier gibt es nicht viel zu sagen - die Kanne meiner sehr alten Krups T8 (dürfte bald auf die 20 Jahre zugehen) ist nach vielen Jahren heruntergefallen, daher musste schnell Ersatz her. Das Original -Set von Krups beinhaltet nicht nur die Kanne in Originalqualität, sondern auch Filter und Deckel.WICHTIG: wie der Beilage zu entnehmen ist, *muss* auch der neue Filter und Deckel verwendet werden, da sich die Maße geändert haben! Den alten Filter und Deckel also entsorgen und nicht in Kombination mit der neuen Kanne verwenden. Viele werden dies sicher wieder übersehen und sich dann über Probleme beschweren. Der Preis könnte etwas günstiger sein, ist aber noch im Rahmen. Da ich den Ersatz am Folgetag brauchte, habe ich dieses Angebot gewählt und nicht den günstigeren Anbieter, da bei diesem keine Express-Lieferung möglich war.Ansonsten - Austausch gelungen, Problem gelöst.
