In just two days it helped healed my mother's feet ulcers, and tailbone, still healing another ulcer in her big toe,the doctor told me to continue the treatment, that is healing very well. I wanted to get this particular good because is in gel, so it stays in the ulcer protecting it and acting at the same time, the other type of iodine is also good, but liquid and it dries faster and it has to be applied more than twice a day, but with Povidone you only apply it once a day. Definetly would recommend this product, is great!

Cheaper than some other stuff and works as well,just stains a bit. Will let you know if you have an iodine deficiencie if the color fades.

I used this for a small scrape and it worked quickly. I would not recommend for an open wound.

I like it better than liquid. It's iodine. It's good for stopping pain and soreness on a cut and stopping infection on festering wound or abrasion. Good product. Cheaper than it's brand name competition and just as good.

I was pleased with this ointments ability to quickly clear up minor skin infections and abrasions. Good price, prompt delivery. Once applied you must cover it with a bandage because it drips once it warms up on your skin and stains nearly everything it comes into contact with be it skin or grout to clothing or bedding. This is to be expected with an iodine based product, but don't wear your designer clothing when using it. If you do get it on washable fabric launder immediately in cold water to start with. Plan to put a tube in my bug-out bag.

I have used this product for years as it seems to work the best of any ointment for me. I don't find it at my drugstore now so always order online. The product is very effective in healing wounds I receive.
