Go-to sketch and concept pads fro pen and ink
I am a professional graphic artist who uses these pads as my 'go to' sketch and illustration pads. The paper is very thin and will work for layover/tracing and they are well resistant to ink saturating through the fiber. The only exception to this that I have found is a sharpie. Other wise, regardless of if it is a Copic marker, a felt pen, or even a brush with ink the paper has stood the test. The price here on amazon (at the time of my purchase) is some 50% cheaper than the sticker price I find at local or online stores. As such, it is a screaming deal. I stock up.This paper is great for quick drawings and sketching for proofs, concepts and process. I use it because it is cheap and easy to work with. For final renderings I always use something heavier.

Good
Been using this brand of marker paper for years. They receive pen and marker well as well as having great erasability for pencils. The top side is smooth and the bottom is a little rougher. Use the smooth side. I've made the mistake of using the bottom and it made everything smear and bleed. The paper is thin but thicker than tracing paper and almost as transparent (about 20% less transparent?) . I use prismacolor and some copic markers for this paper. I actually like this better than the copic papers because they have more standard sizes and cost less while delivering the same performance. I think marker paper is a must if you want to be able to blend colors because the smooth surface is supposed to work with the alcohols in your marker to allow it to absorb slower, dry slower, thus giving more time for the color to be wet and bendable. However the same is true with pens, be careful to wait for ink to dry or else yo risk smearing. The smooth paper allows for crisp lines and blocks of colors without bleeding like Bristol paper. This is like vellum but lest costly so it's good for layouts and tracings.

True as Advertised!
I bought on a whim because this this the first pad of paper I’ve seen called “ marker-paper,” and wanted to see what made it so. I’ve mostly been using Canson mixed-media paper, which is great for other reasons, but I hate the bleed-through effect with Copic/other alcohol-based markers. So: here’s what I learned: no bleed-through (!). Smooth tactile experience. Less ink used. Can actually BLEND colors because they don’t dry immediately. I won’t use for all of my marker-based drawings, but I’m really excited to have found a truly different paper-based experience. I don’t feel like I’m good enough to use this paper yet! Ha. They let me buy it anyway :)

Quality
You can’t go wrong with this brand. It’s still has some sheerness to it (as expected) but the paper is thicker than most and doesn’t bleed over to the next sheet. I think it’s high quality paper and I’ve loved it for my fashion renderings.

easy to use with a little practice
attachments fit well; accessories are useful. Thought it would be unwieldy, but, with a little practice it became easy. Well. constructed.

Works great for most alchohol markers.
I have used just about every brand of marker bond and this is a reliable one. All of the cheap import markers will get a little soupy on marker bond but this one works pretty well. Way better than Windsor & Newton marker bond! Just remember that marker bond is one sided. No marker paper is bleed proof so be sure to protect tabletop.

Great for using over guidelines to practice lettering
I purchased this paper to practice my copperplate dip pen calligraphy on after reading recommendations on calligraphy blogs/sites about how it was smooth to write on, did not allow the ink to bleed through and you could see through it enough to see guidelines underneath. My biggest concern was that I wouldn't be able to see my guidelines when I placed this paper over top but it turns out you can see through it quite well (see photo). The guidelines in the photo are black but I can even see guidelines in a lighter blue color through it. Overall I am very happy with this paper for practice and I have already ordered another pad of it since my initial purchase.

Most impressive!!!
I thought at first this paper would not withstand copic markers drawn on it. To my pleasant surprise, they did not. I was able to use a combination of pencil then colour and blend well , without damaging the integrity of the paper at all. Great quality and price point!! Would most for sure recommend this paper to any creative person!!!!!!
