Blendable and leakage free!
I love the quality and durability of this brand! Out of all the brands of markers, I feel like these don’t bleed, they don’t smear ink and are very blendable! I use these for landscape design as well as for other art I make and I won’t switch to a. Different brand as long as they make these! Color variety is good, I do wish there were more options to choose from or even individual markers for sale as well.

Costly but worth it
As an artist, I’ve had the pleasure of using Prismacolor markers, and I can confidently say they’ve become one of my go-to tools for illustration. The vibrant color selection is fantastic; there’s a shade for almost everything, which really helps bring my artwork to life. One of the standout features for me is their blendability. The alcohol-based ink blends seamlessly, allowing me to achieve smooth gradients and rich textures. Whether I’m working on character designs or detailed illustrations, they perform beautifully, making shading a breeze. I also appreciate the dual-tip design. The broad tip is great for filling in larger areas, while the fine tip allows for precision work, making them versatile for various projects. However, I did notice that they can be a bit pricey, especially if you’re looking to build a complete set. Additionally, I’ve found that the ink can dry out if not capped properly, so I’ve made it a habit to keep them stored upright and capped when not in use. Overall, I highly recommend Prismacolor markers to anyone looking for high-quality, vibrant markers. They’ve definitely elevated my artwork, and I can’t imagine my toolkit without them!

The right tools make a difference!
This set of markers was a gift for my teen that is very into art and will be taking art as her concentration in in high school. Her art changed dramatically after receiving these and a set of Prismacolor Premier pencils. Having high quality tools that are right for the job caused a dramatic change! She uses these markers daily and they have held up to heavy use for 6 months without any change in performance. The colors are strong without leaving any streaking or overlapping lines. Every marker is still going as well as they day she opened them on both tips. These are on the expensive side, but they have been well worth every penny. The box and rack that the markers arrive in are amazing. She loves that the markers can be stored horizonally and not take up a ton of room. She often leaves the rack inside the box so she can quickly and easily move them to wherever she wants to work. The only con we've noticed is that some of the caps are difficult to remove.

Good deal on Lightning Deal
I bought this on lightning deal over a year ago. It's finally due for a review. I have about 100+ of copics, and I bought the prisma to supplement my copics. Sometimes when I need a bigger area to color, I prefer the prismas just because they are a bit cheaper to use. They are very comparable to copics, so if you need a cheaper replacement, I do recommend getting these if they are on sale. However, it seems like the price on these have gotten quite higher recently, almost exactly the same $ as copics. I still recommend copics over these if its only about a dollar difference. Cons: 1. They are not refillable. The markers last quite some time, but after 1-2 months of continuous use of my favorite colors, I noticed that the lighter colors go out much faster than the darker colors. Light blue, specifically PM-48 and PM-145 lasted about 2-3 9x11 drawings. The black only lasted about 1 to 1/2 drawings. I had to get a black replacement immediately, but I ended up getting a faber-castell replacement instead, they seem to last a longer on the black end. 2. No brush nib, and the colors seemed to spread out a lot more in comparison to copics with usage of regular or water color paper. With marker pads, they don't seem to blend out as easily as copics. 3. Metallic sucks, I think this came with 2 or 3? metallic markers and they were awful. I have every single one of these markers since I purchased except for the metallics. I used it once, capped it, tried to use it the next day and it was completely dried out. I could not get any pigment out of them, it seemed like a one time use. I ended up throwing all of the metallics away because they were unusable. 4. Kind of a continuation to the markers drying out. For some reason, gray scale of the prismas, like PM 114 and PM 98, 159, do not last as long as the colored variety. Same with the black, for the gray scales, the copics which I have had for 3+ years without a refill seemed to last much longer than the prismas with the same usage. Pros: 1. Lasts a while with the same vibrancy, if you use them occasionally. With heavy usage, they don't last long at all but if you use certain colors once or twice, they still last a long time. I've had this for over a year and I touched the dark green PM-32 maybe once or twice. It still works fine and does not dry out in the cap. 2. If you have copics, these blend out easily with them, but you can tell that they aren't the same formula. Some Prisma colors will "stick", and will have a greater vibrancy than the copics. It's both a con and pro, but if you need a really darker color accent, then using the prismas is a great tool with copics. 3. Good deal if you get them on sale. These are easy to work with and blend just as well as copics. Again, when it comes to blending I think the copics are much better because these colors "stick" a little bit more. Overall, get them if it's on sale, but overall, I think Copics are still holding the crown for the best alcohol markers.

Great buy!
Markers are great! My daughter has just started using markers in her art work. She usually prefers the Copic brand of markers but they are very expensive so I took a chance on these, and she loves them! And I love the price! The ink last longer than her more expensive markers which is also a plus! They have a plastic tray to hold the markers but it's a bit flimsy and not very sturdy but for the price of the markers I was able to purchase her a carrying case for them and still didn't pay nearly half the price as the other markers and she received 3x the amount of markers than the other set I purchased. The colors are beautiful and they have many different shades of each color. Very easy to work with and they blend beautiful! Definitely am purchasing her more of this brand!

Gifts
Very beautiful and bright colors. I bought a big set for my daughter and she loves them to color and arts and crafts. Be careful, They do smell of that alcohol scent and need a well ventilated room to color. The colors do bleed through paper/canvas and you can use a separate sheet to prevent that.

The marker itself is good, Bright colors. The one thing i don't like is the cap is so hard to get off. I have to use pliers
