It's a pearl so of course it's perfect
Just remember you'll need a rod with a 7/8" arm to fit in these. If you try to stick in anything smaller it will NOT hold it securely. I got three of these for my Pearl rack and they work absolutely awesome. Also remember to take the plastic cap off the drum rack legs before trying to put this on top...duh right? I know but i saw a review where the guy actualy didn't do that and then complained these held the cymbal boom up way too high and too loose...

These are great ! The 3 sided Pearl Icon rack comes with 2 of these, buy 2 more for the back legs for additional cymbal arms. Can't go wrong with Pearl hardware.

I noticed after not using my Icon square tubed rack for several years, that one of the 3 uprights didn't have the ability to hold a cymbal boom arm - we'll that's just not right. Bought this clamp which slotted straight into the upright and boom! More cymbals than animal off the Muppets! Great to know that the design of the kit was still in use and the diameters, or design hadn't changed from my rack to present and that this clamp fit straight in! More drums please!
