Great replica snap caps for training
The finish on these rounds were pretty good. Of the lot, all but two smoothly extracted from a double barrel scatter gun without effort. These dummy rounds are light weight and closely mimic the weight of an empty round which is great for practicing manual extraction/ejection of rounds and reloads. Length wise they are shorter than the standard 2 3/4" shell but for the cost, are a great alternative to other products.

Very nice
These are really great for practicing reloads, testing actions and magazine capacity and function. I like that the hulls look and feel like real shells, but the front end is hollow over a sturdy orange hollow insert so there can be no doubt they are dummy rounds. The polymer insert extends into the primer pocket giving a soft landing for firing pin. They are a bit lighter than real shells, even birdshot, but if thats important to you, you could easily add some weight in the hollow front.

They Feed Well
Great product. The orange coloration provides a great immediate visual indicator that you are using dummy rounds. They are much lighter than live rounds but I bought them for reloading drills with a tubular magazine. I could see the lack of weight being an issue for mag-fed shotguns but it didn't personally bother me.

so far they've got a few nicks and scratches in the hulls and brass but holding up pretty well over this past month and still fe
Been cycling these through my Hawk 981r (rem 870 clone) and Vepr-12 shotguns. I got the 20 pack as I had a feeling my Vepr was going to chew them up (my friend's Saiga 12 destroyed my "B's Dry Fire Snap Caps (TM)"), so far they've got a few nicks and scratches in the hulls and brass but holding up pretty well over this past month and still feed.Work for dry-fire practice and malfunction drills at the range. These are 'okay' for reload and combat loading practice but understand these are not weighted to live shells, but I knew that going in.-they have a nice hollow cavity that can be filled and plugged for those that want a proper weight simulation for reload practice. My only real ding is that these shells are shorter than the average crimped shotshell these measure just a hair longer than 2 & 1/8 inches while target loads like 2 & 3/4 Federal or Winchester Universals measure 2 & 1/4 inches long crimped/unfired-This length difference needs to be kept in mind as they will not fit properly in some shell caddies and it can affect some reloading techniques. On the other hand I can squeeze one more shell in the magazine tube of my Hawk giving it 6+1... possible training scar OR extended practice?? lol

Great for hunters safety
Great quality. I got them and stood on one and could barely bend it, and when I let off it went right back to shape. They cycle and load just like a regular round. Great for first time shooters or hunters safety course. They are lighter than shotgun rounds but you could add some resin with steel or lead shot to give them the correct weight if you were that particular

Great for reload drills
These suck for dry fire drills and the snap cap primer will not hold up. However if you glue 2 .38 special competition wadcutters into the center of them they perfectly mimick the loaded weight of twelve guage rounds. Therefore they are a highly cost effective way to fill shell caddies with dummies for re loading drill purposes. Use the high quality 2 per pack snap caps if you want to do dry fire drills.
