Aqualicious (Pinkalicious)

The Easter Bunny brought my daughter (age 6) this book. We enjoy reading it together. It is a book that she does request that we read, so I know she really likes it. Her favorite color is also teal… so that helps too. We enjoy the books in this series. If you have Silverlicious (a great book too)… it isn’t as long because there aren’t all those tooth fairy notes that you have to read as well. Cute story. Glad we have it.

What's not to like about the Pinkalicious series? Her adventures are easily understood by young children, in my case a 4 year old. Lots of excitement and opportunity for imagination and pretending with Kann's books. Books are fun to look at and easily relate to story. Books, the perfect gift to encourage reading (and writing skills, I am a teacher) and use imagination instead of always turning to an app.Why buy the book instead of the kindle version (sorry Amazon), there is something that is a lot of fun about holding your own book and being able to carry it around or place by your bedside table for frequent reading.

As a parent I think these are great books for kids. They are very illustrative, colorful and full of great stories. It keeps my daughter engaged in the story from beginning to end. My daughter loves the colors and every page and story. I have ordered almost all books about Pinkalicious!

Our household is an avid 'Pinkalicious' series reader, but this one kept my daughters interest more so than 'Purplicious' even did. Pinkalicious finds a special mermaid on the beach and runs into a couple problems, but a discovery at the end like most of the Pinkalicious books do, but Aqualicious kept a action packed story fun and interesting without being too wordy for my three year old. You're more than able to do fun voices with this book. Although the mermaid is slightly demanding, it's a fun read.

My now five year old daughter and I have been collecting and loving Pinkalicious' adventurous books for about a year and a half now. So I couldn't resist adding this newest release to her collection for her 5th birthday, in the same week!I don't love it, and I think my daughter was expecting more too. The beachy theme is fun, the "merminnie" named Aqua is imaginative and cute. But there's just not enough substance to the book. The storyline falls flat. Unlike most of Pinkalicious' stories, Pinkalicious & Peter don't learn much of anything here, there's no moral of the story or lesson learned. Just a little part of a day at the beach where mom & dad fell asleep sunbathing and they met a merminnie and played for a while. We were definitely expecting more from this one.

Another great story in the Pinkalicious series. Perfect for little girls, especially if they like mermaids. Just be ready to read it every day for the next month.

Pinkalicious books are perfect for young girls.

My little girl loves Pinkalicious and her magical adventures but adding a merminnie (cutier and rarer then a mermaid)! This just blew my little girls mind! My daughter borrowed the book from the library and now owns it. It is owned by a little girl that does not like to read. Thanks Pinkalicious for writing about being a powerful, fun, magical little girl.

Great whimsical story in the Pinkalicious series, my daughter loves it. Originally wanted soft cover but the hard cover edition is really nice.

Wonderful book my favourite pinkaliahous!

My oldest loves these books and they make storytime enjoyable for both of us.
