Flying Wish Paper Winter Wishes, Large

My family and I had a great time writing our intentions for 2024 and releasing them. The instructions were clear…write on the thin red tissue paper, crumple up really good, then unfold and roll into a tube. Works perfectly.

Worked well. Paper was like tissue paper. Not a lot of room to write. But 5hen again I am a writer so I had plenty of words to write.

Like these, but with a caution about ashy mess. I was hoping these papers would replace the old Amaretto cookie wrappers that we can't get anymore for the flying paper parlor trick. They do fly up, but there is an ash residue that falls down that the cookie wrappers didn't produce and it makes a mess. I have been warned by the powers that be in my house that I am not to light these papers on fire inside again! So if you want these for a make-a-wish (which the product is intended for), they may be perfect for you. If you are a sad ex-Amaretto Cookie paper lover who loved doing this every time you served cookies to guests, it isn't the same. On the other hand it is the closest thing I have found so I would reorder these when I finish with what I have ... just not in the house!!!

Love the concept, and I've used other brands that work fabulously. This less expensive version was a full kit (with dark red tissue paper, pretty launch cards with the cardinal print, and 6 gold "golf-type" pencils). My disappointment in this product was due to 1) the small sized paper made it hard to write out your wish; 2) the dark red paper made it hard to see what you were writing, especially with the pencils provided (but that was a nice touch to have writing implements included; 3) the small size made it difficult to roll into a tube and stand up; and 4) most importantly - the paper separated into a few different pieces of ash so it wasn't easy to catch and then you were left with little bits of floating ash all over the place. Definitely try the wish paper idea - but spring for the more expensive kind...it's worth it.

Worked as advertised

I had used these before and enjoyed them so much I wanted to get them for our celebrations. They work exactly as described and really do make wishing special. We plan to used them at Thanksgiving. The one thing that is not clear in the description is that these wish sheets are NOT Large. They are exactly the same size as the small. There are more of them and the envelope they come in is larger. They work just fine, but I did expect paper that was larger because the written description makes a big point of labeling them large.

Paper is fun for intention setting with friends at New Years, family activities or individual work. I love these and like to have them on hand. ✨
