Pros:Has inline fuse as I recall which is a big plus to protect devices. DC powered devices plug into socket easily and are secure. The quick disconnect will make it easy for the winter to plug in battery tender with same wiring harness to battery!Cons:Product is designed for universal application and therefore doesn't offer any particularly easy way to mount to bike such as a clamp. Found with no device plugged into adapter the adapter drained the battery dead if you didn't disconnect two-prong quick disconnect. The cover for the socket doesn't seem to fit.Overall:Great Buy, and seller was fast on shipping. Price was cheaper then what I could make the same setup myself.

I put one of these on all my bikes. If you own a bike that does not have an accessory power source, this is something you should buy. It is very easy to install and is long enough to reach just under the handlebars, from the battery. It will allow you to use or recharge 12v accessories, while riding. You can even use a splitter with it. Additionally, it plugs in to the battery tenders and if you have the right cable on a charger, you can recharge your battery from it. Very good product and a value for the price.

This adapter is perfect for my cell-phone recharge wire. I use my Nokia E71X AT&T Navigator GPS when I ride cross country. Very convenient is the adapter's end fixture that plugs into my Battery Buddy recharge wire, which I keep attached to my bike's battery. The only complaint I have is the internal wiring in the molded rubber plug fixture has a loose connection and the connection to the battery is intermittently broken with engine and road vibration. I haven't tried replacing it on warranty as I'm always using the adapter.

The package includes a harness to connect to the battery, and a cigarette lighter adapter to connect you accessories. Comparing the harness with the ones provided with other products (i.e., Deltran battery tender) the Eklipes is of a much inferior quality and it looks cheaper, too. Eyelet connectors are not very good, and the fuse holder does not have a secure cap (it tends to fall). In addition, the workmanship on the connectors could be improved. In regards to the adapter, it comes with a cap bigger than the adapter, so I ended up cutting it out and not using it. The cigarette adapter is usable but not the best out there, and the harness could be used for an application where there is no much vibration (I won't use it in a motorcycle), and where does not need to have a good seal for the fuse (I won't use it in a boat). For a few extra bucks you could get something of a much better quality.

This is easy to add and a great item for my Goldwing. I have already used it to charge my cellphone while going down the road.

This fits my needs perfectly! Better than average construction with decent quality components. Very useful for what it is intended.

Product seems very cheap. You had to twist and turn the plug for whatever you plugged in there to get a good connection, which means that the connection gets "severed" if there's too much vibration. The 2-prong plug in the middle of the wire that connects the socket to the battery was just terrible. In order for that to stick together, I had to wrap the connectors with really strong tape. Get the Roadpro instead...

I had this thing installed and working in about 20 minutes. The plug works well and charges my phone or powers my radar just as it should on long rides.
