Small size big performance
Fotasy made a very good quality 1/4" to Hot Shoe Mount Adapter, my cellphone holder I previously purchased needed this badly. Now I can use my cell phone as an additional monitor for my camera or for recording video while attached to my camera.The fact that this is made of metal makes this great accessory that is very easy to use.Pros: Quality material, funtionality, ease of use, priceCons: I should have gotten this sooner.

Well made and seems very strong. Using it to mount my x360 on my motorcycle using a custom mounting system. A little loctite and it holds very well for my application.

All E-TTL cables use a plastic mount; here's the fix
I'm cross-posting this review from an E-TTL cable which, if you've used any one of them, you know the plastic mounting plate is prone to breaking if you bump your flash on something (usually from people walking in a crowd). Fortunately, most cables also have a 1/4" female thread for mounting. A 1/4"-20 male post adapter with locking disk fixes this. This unit by Fotasy is all metal and a great permanent fix and a great value.The caveat is the weakest link in the mount will break, which is the plastic cable mount, which is a lot cheaper than a Speedlite. With this robust all-metal adapter, it will you need to be more mindful of your surroundings.
