Small FYI —-No Caff in Orange PowerGel Hydros
So, I initially ordered the Orange flavored PowerGel Hydros with the intention of receiving caffeinated gels. Turns out only the Mojito flavored PowerGel Hydros have caffeine (I have since gotten my hands on some of the Mojito flavored gels and they are also excellent.... and definitely taste like Mojito). No matter. The consistency of these gels is a cross between water and syrup and goes down easy. No chewing and no need to flush it down with water. Really nothing like it out there.The orange flavor is delicious and light and not too sweet. I alternated these gels with the PowerBar gel shots Cola flavored caffeinated chews for training runs and several ultras with zero gut bombs and no flavor and chewing fatigue. The consistency of the gels do not leave your teeth feeling like they are growing cavities and need a scrub down as it is fresh and goes right down your throat.Finally, the trash chain..... no more wondering what to do with the top of the gel pack after you rip it off with your teeth. It stays attached to the body of the packaging with a clever trash chain.Highly recommend.

PowerGel Hydro - Good stuff
I really seemed to be stronger/less fatigued in about 3 to 4 minutes after I swallowed it. The flavor was tasty. I was surprised that the consistency was very watery, not like the pasty goo type gels, But I got used to it, particularly because of the reaction, and will continue using it.

Good product, awful packing
Package was almost destroyed, none was missing, but box was destroyed and placed into a bag...I love the product

Not as good as the older tangerine product
I bought these only because I loved the tangerine gels by powerbar and I can't seem to get them any more. Unfortunately I don't like them nearly as much as the older gel product.Pros-not as sticky as the gels-less viscous than gels so it is easier to take in entirelyCons-Did not taste as good as the tangerine-Not sure if the orange one even has caffeine or not.-I felt like I made a bigger mess and lost product taking these in during running/biking-larger footprint than gels in your pocket or bike pouch.
