Loved this porcellain Butter Dish.Arrived same day and it's absolutely superb and consistent. On the inside there is a guide to measure out table spoons of butter which is very handy.We use it on set as well since the white colour is perfect to film elegant and compelling campaigns for clients.

I'm using it for my Airbnb breakfasts and really happy with it. A nice item to leave around the kitchen, solid material, good little knife, easy to wash. Yeah it's cool.

The base could do with rubberized anti slip feet, i have to hold the dish when spreading. I used my glue gun to pit 4x feet at the base. It is now really sturdy.The knife has a rounded tip, not like in the picture, and is alot thinner than imagined, it is also not the best to hold. It is now a letter opener rather than a spreader.A block of butter sits snug inside fresh from the pack, as soon as you start spreading however the jagged edges stick to the lid. Not really an issue, but to advertise it to not do that is a bit fake news.The embossed butter logo is also not as prominent like the picture. Infact i have to position it to the light to actually see it.Unless your ocd like me and line up the butter to the measuring lines, its pointless.All in all its a good little butter holder. A plain one would also suffice. To pay the extra for a poorly embossed butter logo and a spreader knife that feels and looks like its come from a toddler kitchen set, its not really worth it. But oh well ive got it now so itll have to do.

It's nice. The knife is not heavy enough and the word " butter" is not that visible as shown in the picture.

Update after 1 month of use: I love this butter dish. It still is EXACTLY what I wanted. Holds the butter really well and the knife has a designated spot so it doesn't get butter everywhere. And the markings showing under the lid doesn't bother me really at all. In fact the markings are awesome because I don't have to guess how much a tablespoon is anymore! And now that I've used it for a month I do think the make is of good quality. It's pretty sturdy. Overall I am very satisfied.My original review: This product is exactly what I was looking for and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. A butter dish and knife set where the knife had a designated spot and where the knife (if dirty) wouldn't get butter everywhere. The butter knife that is angled up is key here. I'm really looking forward to using this. The product doesn't seem of superior quality (the measurement markings peek out under the lid which ruins the "look" a little bit), but I knew that when I bought it, and I am satisfied with it.

Very happy with this butter dish! Nothing fancy but ver practical for everyday use.

As the title states, I bought this because the cat had figured out how to get to the butter in our last lighter dish, so I wanted something a bit more heavy duty. This does not disappoint. It is durable, and heavy, cat doesn't stand a chance. Additionally, it holds a full block of Kerrygold perfectly, and I like the little markers. I feel like the little butter knife it came with is cute and all, but it doesn't fit in the dish, so it's a little pointless as a set, but whatever, I didn't buy this for the knife, and hey, free knife.

Although I like it, it does not fit the 1 lb butter at the grocery stores in Alberta.Fairly large (bulky) in case you are looking for something slim.As other reviews mention, the Butter word is not engraved enough.It looks nice and it is a butter holder.Dishwasher, no problem!
